Is it OK to do car washing?
Hi, please excuse the question, because of the diversity of the forum around car care I am totally beaten up. I want to bring my 4 year old car with black paint again something on front. There was never more than washing system. I plan to drive with him into an SB washing machine, foam in and clean it properly. Then I dry it with MF cloths. Then I want to polish it by hand with Sonax Xtreme Polish & Wax 3, then remove the leftovers with MF cloths and then seal it with Sonax Protect & Shine. Is the process so OK or do something wrong with it? The Sonax products were given to me, so I would also like to use them. Thank you for your advice!

Where to with my old Audi 90 2.3 5E?
Hello dear community, some time ago I received the old Audi 90 from my grandpa. Unfortunately, there is already so much broken inside that the repair is not worth it for me. Now the question: Where to go with it? Should I have it scrapped or maybe there is someone out there who can do with it? Unfortunately, don’t know me with cars at all. Here are the technical data: AUDI 90 II 2.3 5E, 2282ccm, 100KW/135 hp, first registration October 1987, engine identification letter NG (KE-Jetronic), Km-Stand approx. 135 000. And here his “diseases”: runs only over 4 cylinders (because I couldn’t call a mechanic without having to disassemble the engine). Liquids run out (brake fluid & oil and perhaps other things, the mechanics couldn’t tell me). With the 4 cylinders he runs great, only the loss of fluids unfortunately makes him no longer fit for driving. I really liked him very much and would only have him reluctantly let him rot. W123 without central locking – how to open doors from the inside?
Hello, a probably simple question: How do I open the rear doors on a W123-limousine without central locking when they are locked? Can you pull the small locking pin up again (ala Golf II) or do I just pull it through the door handle inside? The latter would be extremely impractical, but it looks to me as if the locking pin has completely disappeared when the door is locked, so you can’t pull it out manually. 2 X cowl tube broken

All wet left side Omega 2.0
Hello again so it’s all about that with my omi for some reason on the left side completely the bottom side of the doors was/is so also wet in the back. Got seals controlled everything ok soft and almost like new ! just down at the felt everything wet even the speakers left were wet and therefore they just don’t go because when I connect them the radio with Protect refuses and nothing goes further where to the Gaier can come from. Metalic vibration noise at CTR
Good morning ladies and gentlemen… In my year 03 CTR I have between 3.5k and 4k quite loud and unpleasant metal vibration noises. These seem to come quite exactly from the middle of the vehicle, where the 2 cup holders are inside. I have heard/read many times that the vTec cover can cause vibration noises. This is definitely not the case with me. However, I have already noticed that some heat shield is to blame for such noises. I think many of you already had similar problems. Could you perhaps tell me what it was just about? Bzw. if it’s a heat shield, where you find it exactly? My Garagist is an older gentleman, he thinks he doesn’t hear any noises and I don’t know what it is. Cheers wax
