Hello guys! I just read again that the Civic Sport also has a 2L I-VTEC engine but only with 160 hp What would interest me from pure neugierde is whether the engines are identical and maybe you only have to change something like e.g. throttle flap to get to the 200 hp, always it is both 2L I-VTEC engines! Unfortunately, I only know my CTR engine and have not yet seen the other engine from therefore the question! P.S. have also just experienced through Honda that this year in 24h race a NSX runs very close to the Japanese GT series and besides a full-carbon body also sometimes even 420 hp has … that’s really cool or? Easy, wind-cut, and extra power – will be an interesting race I think! Really hammer out the part!

Omega B – Y25DT – engine does not like to start
Meal, I am now for about 3 months and 10,000 km owner of an Omega B, 2.5l, 6 cylinder, diesel. The “seller”, probably an Opel-screw, told me that it is normal that the Omega takes relatively long to start. With increasing cold it took longer and longer – until he suddenly would never want to. Engine was after a short purchase still at operating temperature, battery diligently driven the starter, but engine did not ignite. Then yesterday again the same. I then clamped a starter car to the battery. As a result, the starter turned faster and the engine was perfectly started within a second. Now my thesis: Although, according to the manual, the installed 70 battery is correct, it can not be that I better install a 100 amp battery? The condition of the battery is good. Charging condition is also good. Best regards, the Oppa

Omega B – switching problems with AR25
The data: Omega B V6, Motor Y26SE, Bj 2000, Gearbox AR25 KZ DN, mileage 108500 km Last the vehicle was 6 months without moving it. The problem: In the cold start everything is good. The gearbox hardly switches through noticeably all gears cleanly. The whole thing up as well as down. Kickdown also no problem. With increasing temperature (so from 70°) there are switching problems between 2 and 3. When switching up it turns up partly high than if it were in idle. If one is short of the gas, it switches. Shutting down is then sometimes very roughy. It comes as a result also the MKL. Reading from the fault memory with TECH2 brought only the message “Unknown error” the following has been made so far: 1. Oil change with filter change. The oil was brown, roch almost ranzig but did not burn and had the appearance as if it had the full 16 years behind. Both on the magnet as well as in the two oil trays no traces of Spänen or other parts. Only light sludge from the Abrieb. After no improvement. After 100 km, the gear change has not stopped the oil band again neutral again.

Senator B – Search Info’s about Senator and Irmscher Conversion
Hello everyone! I’m thinking of buying myself a senator next to my Omega Mv 6 and Calibra, but I have some questions. I’ve already used the search function and looked through it. Unfortunately, I only found something suitable. That’s why I’d like to write here. I’ll just count on : 1. Does every senator have the adjustable chassis? 2. Can you just change the Irmscher bumper at the front, so drive with a normal and without registration? (Because grill and headlights are a little smaller) 3. Can you easily retrofit spotlights with windscreen wipers? Find that this looks very good on the car. Is there anything else I should be careful about? Would you like to buy me 204 HP switch. MfG

Purchase advice Audi Coupe
Hello together. I wanted to get an Audi Coupe, but I’m still a bit unwise. Should the round one be, I just don’t agree in a few things. Automatics would be more comfortable but I’ve read somewhere that is very vulnerable, also the drive shafts. So what do you recommend me, automat or switch? I would have fun at the 5-ends of the motorization, what can you guess me there? What about the Quattro models? Is the all-wheel drive robust or does it often like to break something, quattro or better? Basically I need some more background knowledge from people who have more plan of the technology. Repair my cars themselves but the Coupe is Neuland for me. Okay, the axles are probably similar to my convertible, cross handlebars like to wear out, cathedral bearings, etc….but what else is there to consider? Best thanks in advance 🙂

The one or the other knows my coupe already from other contributions I have just installed on a WN motor ne schrick camshaft 276 degrees n 36/36 Weber fall current carburetor head plan and 75cm diameter exhaust system of Simons without pre-muffler. My problem he runs like a 90ps 1.8er has the assumption that the main nozzles are still far too small There are 120 in it thinking that too little is the one if I pull the choke he does not quite the opposite he runs better with pulled choke, at 90 degrees oil temperature! Find someone who can give me some tips!

Audi 80 B4 1.9 TDI power drop
Hello together I have been having a problem with my car for some time now. If the engine has to bring a lot of power (e.g. steep mountain climbs or driving with the fourth or fifth) it suddenly doesn’t pull anymore. I’ve heard more often that the TDI likes to jerk and has different causes. In my case, however, it doesn’t jerk, it just loses power. The problem actually occurs in all speed ranges (lowest which I noticed so far was 2000, up open). So if I drive for example with the third strongly uphill it accelerates first quite normally to 80, then it doesn’t pull anymore at once and stays at 80 or even falls something back. If I then briefly walk off the gas he pulls again for a short time, but shortly afterwards he has no power again. I did a great service about 1 month ago, with which also the diesel filter was exchanged, but there was no improvement. I hope you can help me, many thanks in advance.

W123 280CE – Automatic gearbox switches without visible reason
Hello municipality, for a few weeks after about 30 years again a 123 – this time a 280CE . As far as everything is good, but with the autom. transmission is not quite iO. When starting normally softly the gearbox switches into the next gear, but then switches back again – the speed goes then naturally also high – but only for a few seconds and then goes back to the previous gear. If I drive hard at the stop, he drives as he should. I unfortunately do not know whether the car is driving in the first or second gear. After my memory this is a 4-speed gear, or? That brings me to another question: is there a gear indicator, which indicates the currently inserted gear or how to get to the pears in the dashboard? Vllt are the only defective. Can be good after 33 years … There seems to be something like this after 33 years …

Which coupé of the 80s/90s? – Purchase advice / Expert opinions
Hi, so far I have been a silent reader, but now I have decided to buy (first) a MB old/youngtimer and hope for your advice. I have hardly had any screwdriver experience, but I am enthusiastic about the old coupés and would like to buy it as a weekend/holiday vehicle. Briefly to my situation: And these would be: Based on this, I have limited my choice to the following series. But I can’t get any further now. I can’t even answer the question if Old/youngtimer. I haven’t driven any of these vehicles so far and would be very pleased to get them. I studied the relevant websites, read here in the forum and bought a few magazines. But personal experiences with the models or your concrete opinions on my case would be very cool! Thank you!

Omega b 2.5 td extremely restless run
Hello thanks for the tip with the charging air hose Kurt So as described I converted the engine. Engine runs like a bag nuts. No error in the memory. Had thought of the diesel pump but boschdienst meant then it would be : 1. under conditions leaking 2. bad start 3. qualms at the start or while driving all 3 things hit not to be changed agr Lmm 4. injection nozzle needlehub sensor when I plug off runs even worse so he seems ok to be crankwave sensor of automatic and switch same?? the engine was from an automatic and have now converted to switch and also my switch cable tree laid e technically no faults. then I solved during ongoing operation diesel line also ok you notice that every cylinder works many times also a compression problem am a week reading on the pondering how to test that still can be done
