  • Engine oil for V6 ?

Hi, I want to make an oil change. Since I don’t know how to do this, I want to ask you some questions about your experience with mineral or fully synthetic oils. Can you recommend an oil to me? I have read 5W30 fully synthesized should be the right one. About manufacturers the spirits argue. Should I renew the transmission oil immediately with? Some say the transmission oil keeps a car life without changing. If nevertheless, which transmission oil? • sudden increase in consumption

Hello dear people, I have been driving an Audi 80 B3 1.8S 66KW engine code PM and year of construction 91 for almost a year. Was up to now actually satisfied with the consumption, always had something between 7.6 and 8.3 liters. Now during the last two times it was full tanking 9.5 and 9.3 liters. Where can this come from, is it quite a jump?? Spark plugs, oil filters, oil, air filters are new so this can be excluded. Longer broken (has a small hole) is the trouser tube, but then I should have had an extra consumption before. The cooling water temperature plug sometimes shows what he wants, but that has also been before the extra consumption. At the track profile or driving mode nothing has changed either. Hope you can help me!

  • How good is Smart Repair?

Hello, again I’m good at it… In advance: I used the SuFu and read it all well with the car. But it didn’t help me any more with my problem: Someone made me this scratch (the picture, wheel running back right). Soo, I was now with various painters, including my good acquaintances. So far everyone said that Smart Repair was the right solution. However, my friend knows me very well from my corinte pack side, which concerns car care. He thinks that 99% of his customers are satisfied with the result of Smart Repair, but I would not be one of those 99%. He thinks that I see the difference and therefore will not be happy with it. He thinks that I should have the job painted normally (Smart Repair) and then let the whole page with the clear varnish over. It logically costs more. For Smart Repair he takes 120 eur, for the second option 220 eur – I think that maybe someone scratchs the car again and I can’t be afraid of getting a half car. On the other hand, I won’t be happy with it.

  • It’s a private matter…

tja … some will certainly also have privacy glass dirn or just the 30th … where the discs are also darkened … now the discs are not glued but “darkly exloxed” … or whatever this is called … how long does the darkening retain its original effectiveness … does it become more permeable ? or does it get the disgusting “lila film” … knows ever more about it or has already collected R-drives ?

  • Error message PGM-FI

Hello dear Honda driver, afterwards still a nice wine eight time. Today the surprise, when I want to go home with my CR-V from the workplace, glaring flashing, large yellow warning message “PGM-FI” on the display. From the driving behavior nothing extraordinary to recognize, must drive 40 km home. As I arrived, I read in the HB, next Honda workshop, na suppi, the vehicle has 17,200 km on the speedometer and 5 months old. Of course we should drive in 2 days on vacation and also my Honda workshop is temporarily not to be reached. I still have the Honda Assistance. Has any of you already had this problem with the CRV? In the forum I find directly no contribution. Thanks, Chris

  • Omega B – Y22DTH – Charging control lights up, despite new LiMa

Hello dear community, I’ve been having a very strange problem with my Opel Omega 2.2 DTI Design Edition (Km-Stand 198000). I got into my car about 3 weeks ago and after a 2min drive I noticed that the charging control lamp was on. I was immediately worried that it was the LiMa and I went to the Opel dealership because I had a bigger track in front of me and I didn’t want to drive that way. The FOH meant the LiMa works, even if it wasn’t the best at 13,3 V under load. I thought I should change it soon and the problem with the charging control lamp would be gone. I then drove 500 km without any problems and had a new LiMa installed at home, but now it still lights up. It’s about to mention that if I only made the ignition on the whole time the lamp lights up and when I started the engine then (as it should be) but then after a few seconds it goes on. It’s self-natured that it’s not always been a problem, but it’s a problem for me to say that I’ve had a good idea, but I’ve had a similar problem.

  • Omega B – R4 – differences in the flow rate between the water pumps.

Dear Omega experts, I recently changed the timing belt of my X20XEV and changed the water pump as well. As replacement parts I ordered the set “CONTITECH CT870WP2” from Contintal. The drained cooling water was clean and clear as with a new car; I also filled it up again with new Opel coolant and added it to the marking after the venting run (it is still constant after about 500km!). Now I noticed that the cooling water temperature varies significantly more than before, i.e. on the highway 140km/h there is a nearly constant temperature of just over 95°. After the descent the fan will then gladly rise to over 97,5 (rarely up to 100°) . But the worst thing is if after a longer journey still stop-and-go in the city comes to it: then I already thought the 100°. The fan will then run and the temperature will be cooled down so that the red range 110°(?) will not have been reached. Therefore, my question was offered to be less than the amount of water.

  • Is naviFit recommended?

Evening, I’m desperately looking for a way to integrate a good but portable navigator into my EOS. The manufacturer’s solution was too expensive and too vulnerable to repertures (they have other functions of the car into the device). I only found these kits from Falk. However, I’m limited to falcon devices, and I don’t want to. Now I’ve found it at Navifit. Here all my wishes are fulfilled: 1. Have a large selection of navs that I can install 2. ALL KABEL are invisibly intigrated (through the ventilation slot) 3. Nothing is damaged during installation (drilling etc.) 4. mute circuit when Musi runs Here, however, one is referred to a single builder who should install the stuff. Of course, I don’t want to give my baby into any foreign hands where I don’t know if the workshop is good. Therefore, someone has already used the solutions of naviFit and if yes, what experiences did he make? Thanksanks
