Hello dear community! I have been the proud owner of an Audi 80 1.9 tdi BJ 1993 for a few days now. I don’t know so well about the 1.9-er tdi engine, but I have really good experience with the predecessor, the 1.6-er td(i). And now to my questions: 1. I’m surprised that any pump runs after the engine is switched off in the engine compartment (is connected to the valve for the turbo limitation). Is this a normal function? What’s the purpose of this? My battery was taught yesterday, had this follow-up under suspicion… 2. The engine itself doesn’t feel particularly strong, but does not develop smoke when giving gas. It runs through (some mast), but at a speed (about 2000 rpm) starts to whistle loudly at the turbo. Does that say anything about the condition of the loader, or should I look for a leak in the cover? MfG, Attila

Carbon Ram Air CTR the second 😀
HI! Today we have completed the second prototype of our Carbon Ram Air, which is finally close to series production, and have a few photos for the first time. Tomorrow I will take a test drive if the weather plays along and of course tell you about it. If you are interested in this part, please send me a PN or simply an answer in this thread. The price of the Carbon Ram Air will be between 130 and 150 euros. Depending on how many orders you receive. If you still have questions, please ask.http://img233.imageshack.us/img233/1575/cimg15997zt.jpg http://img233.imageshack.us/img233/6095/cimg16006uo.jpg http://img233.imageshack.us/img233/951/cimg16032zk.jpg http://img233.imageshack.us/img233.

Honda CRV 2.2 I-Dtec Executive Automatic Experiences
Hello, our Honda CR-V Executive has now slowly come into the years. First registration 2013, 160,000 km. Maintenances: Regular oil change and slings renewed. Repairs: 140.00 Clamping rollers of the air conditioning and gear flushing due to jerking at about 70 km/h. With the car we are very satisfied but before the next TÜV there are probably some repairs. The spring at the front right is broken and the dust protection caps of the shock absorbers have dissolved. The brake pads at the front have to be renewed. Original springs are not available at Hoda. I have therefore ordered springs from a spare parts dealer. Complete spring legs are not on offer there. With Honda we are almost priceless. With the car however, we are very satisfied. However, he should soon give way to an electric car. Is there similar experience and possibly repair tips? Rene

CR-V3 – DPF light burns, still possible to trigger regeneration?
Hello, in spite of the problem often discussed here I still have some questions. I have driven a lot of short distance lately and have interrupted 2x a regeneration. Shortly afterwards the DPF lamp came (permeable) and since then the suit has considerably decreased. But this is not a real emergency run, because I had already experienced such a thing before. With enough start-up it runs on the straight still 130km/h, only on climbs it slows down. I have tried several times on longer motorway rides (30 – 60km) to burn out, unfortunately in vain. I yesterday dropped a can of Liqui Moly DPF additional and filled it up. I have the opinion since then it runs a tick better, but lamp still burns. Oh yes, an oil thinning does not yet take place or has not yet found place. My questions are: Can I trigger the regeneration again by long rides? If yes, is it better to give “spule” and generate heat or rather to roll there constantly with 90km/h? Or is it better to let the car stand completely?

But not so hard – a funny story
During the test drive before the purchase of a new CRV, my wife and I found only one negative feature: bad suspension. After a few considerations we decided to do so and for about a week now we have this car. Well all in order to: bad suspension. But all this was only valid until yesterday when I checked the tyre pressure. I lowered the tyre pressure from 3.5 to 2.1 for all tyres. Yes, the dealer seems not to have done this during the delivery. And look, suddenly a completely new driving feeling. The suspension is suddenly as it should be. It is also much softer than it was on the test drive with the test car, in which the dealer also does not seem to have controlled the tyre pressure. Now we suddenly came to a completely new improved vehicle without extra charge after a week. Therefore my tip to everyone: Controls the tyre pressure also on a test drive To my excuse, I have to say that I really assumed that car dealers have checked both their test cars as well as to be delivered new cars.

Euro 2 for JN?
Tach too, I’m about to replace my recently sold Golf II with a very nice B3 of 3/88. I’m afraid now that he’s installed the JN. I’m afraid because I’ve heard/read a lot of contradictions about the possibility of the Euro 2 upgrade so far. Some say it’s not possible, others say it’s possible again, with a Kat upgrade. I haven’t found a KLR yet. The PM was introduced only 3/88, so I don’t assume that he already has it… Any tips so far? Thanks already…

Confirmation radio remote control central locking
Hello guys, I have the new CR-V since mid-May and am very satisfied with it so far. Of course there is always something you want differently, in my case I think it’s a pity that the operation of the radio remote control for locking the vehicle is only confirmed visually with the turn signals. So you always have to stop at the vehicle and make sure that the radio signal has been detected, because the LED in the original key is so small that you can hardly recognize it in sunlight. However, since I used to get used to locking the vehicle quai “walking away” it would be nice if, in addition to the flash signal, the horn or another acoustic signal sounded briefly for confirmation. There should be something like this as a module for retrofitting, but I have unfortunately always found only complete central locking sets so far, which I do not want to replace completely.

Switching from Omega to CR-V
Hello forum community, ride since 1997 Omega. The first Omega B was burdened with many problems. The current Facelift, Omega B AT 100kW with full equipment is so reliable, but it is time to look for a successor. I looked at the CRV and my first impression was very positive. The possibilities to adjust the trunk are well solved in my opinion. I read through extensively in the CRV Forum and experienced a lot. The problems described there are annoying, but not so serious to exclude the CRV from my purchase considerations. My questions would be: Has anyone already made the change of the Omega ==> CRV and how is the satisfaction? Who is about 195cm tall and how is the seat position for the size? to me the seat a little bit short. thigh cover? I have to buy the petroler EXE with AT before me in the fall, which is fully sufficient for my purposes I thank you now for answers. Greetings Rosch

Experiences FR-V?
Hello, even if there is a separate subforum – there doesn’t seem to be many FR-V owners… On the street you can see one from time to time, but here in the forum there is only one thread (and it doesn’t deal with the FR-V directly). I’m just in front of the decision Mazda 5 or Honda FR-V and I’m looking for all the information about it. Therefore my questions to you: Are there FR-V owners here? Are you just so satisfied that you don’t register? Or what are your experiences with the car…?

Audi spare parts policy for older Audi models
Hi together, I hope that’s right here. I wanted to start a little discussion on the topic of replacement part politics on the part of Audi for our older models. Reason for my inquiry: Drive an Audi 90 B3 and had heard of part man at the friendly one “falling out without replacement!”. Finally with the cylinder head seal! I ordered then an accessory from Elring, which should be at least as good. Another example: I was a plastic T-piece for the air-cooling of the injection nozzles broken (after 26 years the plastic is just not quite fit anymore). Unfortunately it was something special, in the inside of the T-piece was in each direction a small nozzle that left only a limited amount of air in one direction and had to create certain pressure conditions. So I could not use 0815 T-pieces. Falling out without replacement! By luck I still came to such a part of a dealer’s question, but then it would have been stupid and I had to make a little bit of air. So I could always somehow get out of the accessories, or needed parts of it. But I didn’t need to think about the same situation?
