  • Omega newcomer with questions

Hello dear Omega friends, I’ve been proud owner of an Opel Omega B 2.5 V6 (Benzin) with automatic gearbox Bj. 11.1994 and super satisfied. My father got the Omega Facelift and I’ve been allowed to have the old one a few questions about the car anyway: 1.) He has about 220.000km down and after the start the engine rattles for about 5 seconds, but what is immediately gone and only appearance when the engine is cold. Has jmd experience with what that could be ?! 2.) a consumption of 13-15l p/100km normal ?(95% city) is of course with speedy driving “the bad S-button…” 3.) off and on when I wait at a traffic light, “jmd” quite easily “jumps” and the car feels uneasy. is only 2-3 times for short time (10min) occurred. Does the maximum of my driving be quite happy yet again. 4.) he certainly has not seen a highway for 2 years. I would like to free it properly (evtl sings of consumption). If I’d like normal? If I’d like to be happy about a good time.

  • Clagers on the front left also without hube..

Juhu, today I found a clacker on the driver’s side during my ride with my Omega. It’s not the barbs. I know the sound too well. The clacking occurs even with a completely quiet ride, not even if I drive through a little hole or something like that. Just then my husband has been working hard on the bonnet to see if it is there in the stand and see there: If it is pressed down in the front left then the clacking or rather beating noise is there. But only when the wheels are standing right now. Are they hit, say it’s on tension, then not. Could it be something that is easy to fix?? That would be great. 😉 Thanks already for the help Kathy

  • Timing belts torn????

Hello municipality, My neighbor wants to give me his B4 ABK , 11.1993 , Quattro. Has 22td km down. Looks inside as well as outside and in the engine room like new!!! Has only made since 1995 no tooth belt change or oil change anymore. the good neighbor is in the Krakenhaus and I could not wait and I have already tried. He has a bit jerked as if the engine had not run free so I thought. After 2-3 km on the highway(still urban area) so does not drive fast the engine suddenly goes off. To make Nix the ADAC man after incoming test (electric, spark plugs etc.) has dragged me to the workshop. I had before the engine failure nix heard thus no loud noises like places or tear ö.ä. Now the question is in the room whether the tooth belt is torn. Do there any opinions about it?

  • Wheels mounted – new valves!?

Hi guys, I’ve never seen my summer flaps attached to me and my friend suddenly presses a pack of valves into my hand…I’ve never seen them before!http://www.hondafreund.de/resources/Ventil.JPG They’re completely tamper-proof, they don’t stand out like that anymore (only 11mm height in the developed condition) and look better… At a price of just under 25€ you can’t complain…especially because I absolutely wanted to have the anthracite-colored rims, only with the silver valve this looks stupid…only manco: you need such a small adapter with which you can screw off the cap and then use it as an adapter for the air filling… Do you know these valves already, or am I the last one of them again?

  • SUPPLEMENTARY ASSISTANCE!

Hallo dear engine talk community! this platform is our last hope for: Opel omega b MV6 BJ 1997 in our display is really good to say: OIL STAND and also from time to time MOTOR OIL since we have unfortunately no manual of the omega, we do not know the meaning, b.z.w know this error not to interpret. in advance it is said that we have oil in the water! before now everyone shouts: cylinder head seal, be told here that the complete engine is overtaken! here are some data, all the tracks rubbers / bearings ( or as you already call it STAND ^^)…….andundund….only times what’s new. I have read here in various threads, the display can be done with the normal?

  • Where is your stand heating + integration petrol & cooling water

Moin, I finally managed to get a preheater. Have installed everything in the bay at a used Webasto Thermo Top T BW50 Bj.:2002. As far as everything is good, but now I ask myself where I should plant the in my moto room still quite installed there. I have read that the original heater under the driver’s headlight should sit behind the bumper or fender, that would be like me also the only free place, otherwise I don’t think so, you maybe? I have to put the hoses right across the engine room, so the enclosed ones will not be enough, therefore I have to get longer anyway. Achja, the whole should be in my Audi 100 C4 avant quattro with the 2.3l AAR and climate control. Because of the connection of the air conditioning I have already found a lot here and will probably implement this also, say automatic control with 22° and ventilation level 4. Now it’s all about the integration into the return of the benzoin line, just behind the volume divider, and this is something that I wanted to do there.

  • Audi 80 Cabrio 2,6l Heating hose mounting position

Hallöchen, a good friend of mine drives an Audi 80 B4 convertible with the 2,6l V6. Yesterday he lost cooling water, nothing serious, he noticed it in time before there was too little water in it. Overheating is therefore not a topic. Then he found the cause immediately. The hose on the driver’s side which goes to the heat exchanger in the interior has a crack. During the expansion we noticed that if you steer to the left this hose is clamped between steering rods and cooling water pipe. Even when driving straight out the hose is still deformed. Only if you hit the right side, there is no contact between steering rods and heating hose. It seems strange to me that this hose has been broken by the continuous walking movements of the hose. The engine has been changed by the previous owner times, I guess now that he has misplaced the hose and therefore the defect has occurred. Hope that a few Audi specialists are able to help us further by telling us how the hose has to run properly.

  • For which convertibles there were belt-integral seats (GIS)

Hello community! Who can tell me for which models there were the belt-integral seats as special equipment? Was there this over the whole construction time? Does any of you have a vehicle with these seats (GIS)? If so, it would be great if I could get a picture of the driver and passenger footroom. THANK YOU already for the help!

  • Oil consumption at CRV

Hello everyone, I got probably the first CRV (new model) on 22.12.2006, and since then only gammel with the box. Is at the moment again in the workshop, this time because of transmission problems. I am really shocked if I see these many mistakes, with this CRV, which I also have here in the forum again. I already had two new cars from Honda and they were always very reliable, but the present is an imposition for over 3000€. Maybe someone knows about the oil consumption? I have already stayed 2x because I had too little oil, it was not on the sensor, but on the oil level. come filled about 3500km. According to Honda Offenbach a Honda engine on 1000km can need about 1 liter of oil. ABER HALLO, I thought the times are over ( maybe still with a lawn mower). It would be nice if there were answers on this topic as well.
