  • Hot water supply (and heating) in the caravan

Hi together, how does the hot water supply (and heating) in the caravan work in principle? I assume that there are in principle 2 possibilities: Something else? If I want to take a shower from time to time (in “emergency cases” we say warm in the WW, I probably need both (230 V and gas) or? Because if I am standing in a place without a power connection (should yes occur), I need gas – on the other hand, I would like to save the gas with the existing 230 V connection. And then it seems that there are still combinations of hot water preparation and heating, and there I somehow don’t get through. I found the most different (some optional) possibilities with various manufacturers/models such as: I now assume that the first two correspond to the above mentioned 2 possibilities. But what do you really need a Truma (or other manufacturer) thermal bath for? Is this keeping the heat longer? (both for hot water as well as heating?) If you don’t want to be camping in winter and as much as possible on the road – what do you really need, if you don’t use an electric heater?

  • Atego 818 Telligent extreme fuel consumption

Halo. Have two Atego 2, once an 815 manual transmission (yellow plate) and an 818 with Telligent circuit and Bluetec (green plate). Both vehicles drive in the fresh service local transport, but only at summer temperatures also with cooling, otherwise without. Both vehicles have basically the same driving profile. The 815 switch has a thermoking cooling unit that runs independently with diesel. The 818 Telligent has a Thermoking KA that runs over belt drive. Now to my problem: The 815 switch with diesel cooling creates with a tank filling approx. 600 km. The 818 Telligent with belt drive cooling creates with a tank filling between 330 and 380 km. Can this be right? Maybe this is still of interest here: In the 818 already twice the tank sensor has been changed, since the tank indicator has displayed an imaginary filling level as desired. Thanks in advance for the help!

  • Remodeling the articulated bus – question for registration

Hello everybody, I’m new here and also relatively ignorant in the field of truck & utility vehicles. So please forgive me for the one or other “dumb” question. It’s about the following, I want to buy a articulated bus and rebuild it. Is it meant: sit out, except on the driver’s seat, partially darken windows and convert parts of the windows so that you can take them out and put them back in again. After that you should still be allowed to drive on public roads with the bus. Now we come to all the questions: Can I then register the bus as a truck? How can I get away with the registration / insurance most advantageously? If the seats are outside then I need a passenger transport ticket or a “normal” truck driver’s license? Questions about questions. I thank you already once for the answers Greeting Dennis

  • Rear wheel carrier assembly

Hello together, we decided to install a rear bike carrier, we know about the possible disadvantages in the load distribution, but due to various circumstances this is the only possibility for us. Our caravan is an Eifelland Holliday 495 TF, year 2006/2007, was unfortunately not available, therefore just Knaus/Tabbert, but this only on the edge. Does anyone know here the events in the substructure, i.e. does someone know if a strut is under the rear window? If no, would it be enough to install a corresponding reinforcement (wood slats, metal profile, etc.)? If someone has experience here, that would be great. Thank you for your help.

  • Question on the EBS Annex

Hello, I have a Kögel truck Deichsel trailer (BJ 2003) with air suspension and EBS system from Wabco. The trailer is now used as a transport vehicle for silage bales on a farm. It is pulled with a tractor (2-circuit compressed air system). On the ABS plug are on PIN 1-4 24v DC. These are generated by a 150 watt voltage converter which is connected to 12V continuous plus to the tractor. Thus the EBS system has current. PIN 5-7 are not used on the plug. Unfortunately, the trailer always brakes relatively strongly. Although not as strong as if there is no current on the plug, however still strong. This makes itself noticeable on the road that comes to a stop immediately when the trailer brakes firmly. On loose ground like field roads or in the field the wheels block even with solid brakes. Is it possible to adjust the EBS system softer?? MfG

  • Japan Kit?

Does anyone know where you can get the so-called original Honda “Japan Kit” for the CTR? For example, was mentioned in the last sports car magazine on the occasion of the 24h race where numerous CTRs were driven. Everyone had built this Japan Kit and thus increased the power to 220 or 230 HP (depending on the exhaust). I found a used one in the net by 2500.-. Stock of other camshafts, pistons and flywheel and???? And all original of Honda. The fact is that Honda supplier is this kit anyway. Is subsidized delivered to Honda racing series. Would be interesting if anyone of you heard about this kit?

  • Consumption CTR

WOW Really economical! I just wanted to say that I was at the WE in Holland Krefeld Bielefeld Münster …. So I have to blow up 4 tank fillings ! The hammer is that I drive at 140 kmh under 9 liters so far over 400 km a ́ tank filling ! But if I am not slower than 190 / 200 I get off with MAX 340 km per tank filling ! (full gas brake … full gas brake etc…) So the CTR with its 200 hp is with me in the city and on the track with ungf. 10-11 liters I find this is the hammer !!! The consumption is getting better the longer I have it …. I love my black CTR gruss Demon

  • Airbag lamp again

Hello dear people, I know that a lot has already been written about this topic but it has to address it again, because I have now encountered the same problem that the airbag lamp constantly lights up after switching on the ignition.was there also with the friendly one and he immediately! with the diagnostic device.he had determined that the onboard voltage is probably too low in general.Instead of 14,4 volts only 13,5 volt.er also said that it could lie on the battery.there were only voltage errors that the diagnostic grave indicated and that were, according to his opinion, far too many.my omega b runs perfectly.whether in the stand as well as at full load.nun but my question, can you not switch off the airbag lamp in the amaturboard?is there a security that I can make out at the moment that the no longer lights?can find no one. vehicle data: opel omega b 2,5 V6 building year: 1998 gruß mutzzespitz

  • Replacement value Audi 80 B4

Hello, I had an accident on the WE is not to blame someone has an idea how much an Audi 80 B4 2.0 ABT Limo, color white with 126tkm EZ 12/92 on the clock has approx. of replacement value. It was a small pre-damage (parkrempler) therefore I installed a differently colored shock rod on the car. Was today with the lawyer because of report had to be created etc. I think it will be an economic total damage bumper, turn signals, fenders are over and my cross handlebar has not even bent it could drive home. The life service in my eyes also very boldly wanted to sell me still at the accident place a new car and to have my without value estimate immediately rotted away what I did not let. The lawyer said he already knows he is a real wind dog of this breakdown service I ask therefore so stupid as also the towing service meant more than 300€ I can not get any more. For my 3er golf back then that was the same construction year I didn’t owe him 5 years ago he already he is a real wind dog of this breakdown service I did not get so stupid because also the to get the to the to the to the to to to to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to
