  • Abolition of the short-term mark in its present form

    The Federal Government wants to please us with the abolition of the free use of short-term registration marks. In the future you can only get a short-term registration mark for vehicles with TÜV and AU. The data of the vehicle are entered firmly by the registration office. So you can no longer drive on auctions and then enter the data of the increased vehicle. Also a vehicle from the Bundeswehr died then! Here the text of the petition: The planned “Second Regulation to change the vehicle registration regulation and other road traffic regulations” should be changed as follows: As so far as can be moved also vehicles without TÜV and AU. Reason: The technical cultural goods of the oldtimer vehicles are thereby massively threatened. Private purchases and sales of vehicles with expired or foreign TÜV are voted by almost impermanent. Workshops can not be carried out so extensively and time-intensive as can be moved here by low-loader. Here HU will not be able to vote for the new registration number.

  • Enough turning surface for trucks (40t)

    Hello guys, I would need your help, because I have little idea about truck and their space requirements. Specifically, it is about building a new building that will reduce the previous delivery area a little bit. Do you think it is possible for the attached plan to reach the red marked delivery areas with different truck types and also to leave fully loaded again (so forward in – backwards out)? The red arrows represent the possible exits or access roads. I have inserted the approximate lengths. The blue rectangles should represent the new building – the closer you could slide it up, the better it would be, as the slope falls steeply below.   • Question about driver card (exchange)

    Hello, because I have received a new driver’s license (registration code95) the driver’s license number entered on the driver’s card no longer agrees. This leads to problems in France (costs about €350 penalty). The BAG therefore recommends to get a new driver’s card. So far, so good. Only the road traffic office, which I pick up the old card when applying for the new driver’s card. Because the new driver’s card is valid from now on and I could otherwise drive with both driver’s cards. My old card is still valid until October 2016. Can I now drive for the period until I get my new card without driver’s card? And then make a printout every day and label it with name and driver’s license number? This is also allowed in case of loss/theft. And is there something like an express procedure when applying? Thank you Christian

  • Footroom lighting and questions

    Hi people, I’m going to have to make 80 feet of light in blue in my audio, but I don’t know how to connect it. I wanted to have it that way when I open the door and then when it’s too close it goes out. Jez has my question, has a installation instruction or can give me tips like that with the cigarette lighter..you can get the power for it and then I know that the cables from the tubes are like those from the door contact cables in the wheel I don’t know. I don’t want to do anything wrong so I don’t want to do something big afterwards, so I don’t want to know all this before and I don’t want to try it all out. So, would be awesome if someone can help me out there who knows better how to do it, or if there’s a tutorial on how to do it.

    Hello together, I know this question has been asked very often but I could use your help so that I almost know where to start looking. I got into my smart today and didn’t want this to work for this start, but it worked after a repeated start attempt. Unfortunately, no gear can be inserted any more and I don’t hear the actuator “turn on”, in addition, the ECO lamp flashes and the MKL lights up. If the engine is off but the ignition is on, the gears read in without any problems and the actuator can also be heard. Is there another way or does it have to be the clutch immediately?   • 2007 CR-V: Subwoofer control

    Hello, I have bought a new CR-V 2.2 Diesel Executive with a navigation system (also includes a subwoofer) for the first time in the previous week, and since I own the car, it seems to me that the subwoofer does not work. Although there is bass, however, I think these are from the speakers in the door panel. It’s rather a category kick bass. The subwoofer is i.a. responsible for the soft, dynamic and deep bass. But of that I notice very little in the vehicle. So I thought the mechanics should look at the part during the inspection, whether it is controlled. I also told the mechanic that the subwoofer regulation (from off to full pull) has no effect, i.e. it’s no more or less bass to hear. The mechanic just said that it already works, but you don’t hear the difference as the attitude leaves very little room for me. And you can only hear the difference with certain passages and with a certain volume. That’s not what I want to do.

  • Wear on front tyres

    Hello and good evening. With my CRV I drove about 12000 km on the original Dunlop tires, whereby the tyres, which are now mounted in front, run only 3000 km in front. Now I have noticed that both front tires in the outdoor area are quite strong. They are not there yet flat, but of the 8mm profile are only 5mm left. The lamellas are all on one side round. Some lamellas are already eaten to the tail. The surface of the rubber, in the outer 3cm area, looks like a bad eraser when I drove Sück highway during heat. Has anyone made similar observations?   • Avant with NG and 230TKM, retirement car – re-adjust?!?

    My new 80 Avant Quattro has the NG engine in the bow and already 230TKM on the clock. The car was sold by the family of the previous owner as a debt mass, because he could not afford the car any more. Accordingly, I have to fix a small repair jam, but is manageable. Now I know the NG in my convertible for 17 years … and there it runs like a small, female pink ruffled animal. Tacho 230 (after GPS always in 215) stand there already and the suit is for 133 hp just gigantic, quite apart from the sound. Audi GT Coupe type 85. Is ten Quattro 5 cylinder – 136 hp clearo EZ 12.85 so just before the h registration running power 340 tkm. But think this is not so important. 1 previous owner otherwise extras: Is the model sitting with the red leather. Are of course finished as mostly original steel sliding roof that was believed to be condition I can not say anything. Do I have to look at the car first. But is so unbasked and original at first.     Hi boys and girls… My CTR goes into the 40,000 inspection today. What exactly will be done? So I know how to set valves. Oil, brake pads, it’s clear. My problem is that I don’t have any trust and my dealers. Both got me a lot worse! So here’s something with it! There’s new brake pads on top with 3tkm on the front then DS performance on it oil I bought Castrol GTX-7 5w-40, that’s good. Had previously Motul and that was the best so far, but did not find it here again! (Would now the 4th oil change, so I say that) What I still have to do with the Garanie: Steering gear 2 gear and 1 gear make much worse valve cover licks Ventilation control is on the ass – 2x clutch cylinder – 2x circuit has a crack vibrating – 2x I also wanted to buy pollen filters. What do you think it costs then, how said oil and brakes only have to be changed because I already have valves and what else do the pollen filters plus?
