Have the problem with my CTR at accelerated speed (+brakes) that the brakes are rubbing. Same thing occurs when you slow down strongly from high highway speed. Then the brakes don’t sound and feel very trusting. My explanations: 1. Two-time racetrack visit with heavy braking load. Brake discs have been drawn since then. (Pays Honda e.g. spoiled brake discs in the course of the 3J warranty?) 2. Front brake discs have “brake lining stamps” that look like if the brake pads have fixed themselves and now on this place is a different surface than on the rest of the brake disc. Have you noticed similar phenomena? If so let me know your braking problems.

Kumho Ecsta SPT (Ku31) Tyres on CTR
The salesman has put Kumho Ecsta SPT (205/45/17w) on my new CTR. I don’t know what these costs now, but the parts feel absolutely awesome. Well, I haven’t done great stress tests yet, but they are quite quiet, convey safety and don’t feel so ultra hard. So far I find the tire really very good. Let’s see how fast it degrades and how it behaves on the road today when I drive to my friend! Does one of you know the tires? I would be interested in different opinions … if the tire is really good yet I can’t say! Will it turn out then?

Who’s got a Daily Beater?
Hi, just wanted to ask who has everything an everyday car… Oke the CTR you can drive every day, what I did… Bzw. who has the one winter car? I got a 2t car… because at 1,32 you already tip the liter off the socks… The funny thing is, I have never filled up normal and I am kind of stutzig to refuel though 91ROZ/95RON stands on tankdingens… lol habits.. But does someone happen to know if a Golf 3 needs Super or Normal? I get net in the head… 1.6l with 90hp? 100hp ???

Reverse light range control
Hello dear Audi community. I was last week at the Tüv and there were some mänges found. The lack with the light range control causes me most problems. That’s because it’s upside down. The Audi has Angel-Eyes which were already on the vehicle when I bought it. If I set the controller up on level 3 then it drives up and if I set it to level 0 then it drives down. I now tried to change the cables directly at the actuator but then nothing happened. So off to the plug and try. The end of the song now does not work at all. Now I have only put something in the gap that remains open and always a little acetone between case and glass dripped let a little effect and by easy turning with the screwdriver let the acetone make its work. The stick is always more and then you can work in the circle around the whole glass and then a little glue scraping out and a new las stick on it. It’s not easy to put it on the wrong side and then it’s not easy to make the trouble to put it on another glass.

450 CDI has no passage in higher gears
Hello friends, First of all: injectors are currently working well, glow plugs, battery and all filters are new. In the diesel circuit there is no air, rail pressure control valve and sensor have already been tested. Nevertheless, the car does not have a train in higher gears. In the first and second gear it accelerates decently (which I can’t really judge, because my first smart). But from the third gear it reacts already carrier and overtake on the highway at speed 100 only works laboriously and maximum in 5th gear. The 6th gear is currently only a number for me. I have just picked up our Brabus from the workshop of the Smart Specialists… they don’t know any more:-( He has already been renewed the clutch, the actuator and ECUs. Error message from the N3/10 unit: P886 Relay “K40/1kL” does not switch (Not every time…) Error message from the N15/6 unit: Relay “N10/10k9” does not switch (Always!) When it is parked on R it does not switch to N… and even if it has been parked on N it still doesn’t start. The actuator also makes only easy “Tak Tak”. After 2-3 minutes waiting time (but only when ignition!) it jumps easily and does not cause any problems even during the ride… If you leave the ignition on the fault remains. What can this be?
