  • MAN TGA Detection of voltage converters

Hello you! I’m new here and have the following problem: Have a new job and drive a MAN TGA 18,430 (I don’t know the year of construction, at least he has a digital speedometer. Guess the year of construction so on 2005 or 2006 The radio and the 12 volts socket do not work. The driver with whom I share the car (we drive walking floor in local traffic in two shifts (early and late) told me he had connected his 12 volt cooler and once the cooler went out and the radio didn’t go. He had already checked all fuses but found no fault. I then saw myself yesterday evening after the fuses and could not detect any error. Now in the forum I came across here that the thermal protection of the voltage converter could have triggered. To do this you have to reduce parts of the cover I have a question Is it right that you can see the paneling around the buttons “back lighting, seat heating, night lighting, engine brake, ASR from dismantling and then I have to go ahead?

  • WW bought with hidden water damage

Hello dear WW friends, I have a problem and think you could help me on the jumps: I bought a WW in summer (Bj 1993, from the dealer who made me notice a “resolved water damage” in the area of the door). So it is also in the contract. When my children (I am already Grandpa) wanted to use the part in the autumn vacation and we made it float, we noticed in several places, especially rear side and rear side surfaces and the connection between floor plate and side walls and rear wall that the car was there, well, marode. I had called the dealer in September and we agreed an appointment for the inspection and arrangement. That was today and now he told me the following: 1. Water damage is normal with old WW (1993) 2. the damage he would not have been able to get away from the side of the picture wall (although he had a few centimetres beside the said places often after the TÜV, I had not seen the “right” water damage from Kulanz. Well my question can not get away from the side?

  • Make camping bus winterfest

Hello camping friends, I have read the instructions, but am still a newcomer in terms of camping. Do you have to let the water out of the boiler at the camping bus (Citroen, Bj 2017) or do you let it off yourself with Frost? 2. Letting off the traditional water. Is it enough to let the water out of the taps into the sink or do you actually have to crawl under the car and let it off? 3. Dirty water. There it is enough to just turn the tap open and leave it open? Thanks already for the answers P.s. the car is outside and will probably not be moved for 2 – 3 months, since I do not want to have any salt on the bottom.

  • Thetford C2 toilet flush defective

Hello, I’m completely new here and need your help right away. We have a Thetford C2 toilet flush for our TEC. The water flush is triggered here electrically on the right by “pressureing” after opening of the waste tank. Since this was no longer the case and the fuse is intact, I assumed that this is the pump. So I ordered a replacement pump for this and also installed it immediately. Unfortunately, the pump still does not work. In the shaft for the waste tank I found a defective insulation with the help of my camera (picture 4). Is this possibly the reason? Only how could I fix the damage there, since you can’t get there as good as possible? I hope you can help me!

  • a question about the speedometers

Hello, I am a freelance event technician and for this reason I have to move a 7.5 t from time to time. Now I had a problem with the green/white or blue/silver costume group recently. I was stopped and one wanted to see the tacho discs of the last days…. I of course did not have a few weeks driving a 7.5 mer. Then they wanted me to see a certificate of my employer that I normally did not drive a truck! Well, then offered to them that I write the thing quite to the fast itself, what am I self-employed for?! Then the gentleman in beige completely freaked out and wanted to collect a penalty in the amount of 50 € which I refused to pay. Then he told me that he would then make an advertisement and I received mail. So far I have nothing, but what did I do wrong? Can anyone of you explain this to me. At the load securing and the steering time there was no objection! Many thanks for your help.

  • Replacement of DC-lighting machine

HI! I bought an old tractor, which I will now renovate for the next harvest change. Now I’m just in the electric. Is anyway much above but always when the tractor is empty the light is a little dark, only when I give again some gas the light will be brighter again. (Just lying on the DC light machine) Will not suffocate during the move with the exhaust gases, therefore I would like to build a three-phase light machine (which does not have this characteristic). Is this possible without any hesitation? equine current comes out with both, I just have to be careful about the correct polarity because of the battery and the starter or? (polung is in the set to today’s cars, cable= mass, frame = pluspol, starter housing = pluspol) Best thanks in advance THE_ONE

  • Every now and then with CarHifi-installations earn some money – liability? Questions!

Good evening dear forum people, especially since I have already realized some CarHifi installations, I thought that with my 16 years I could earn something from just these (so far always for free for friends etc.) something. Now I would like to be interested in what you fundamentally think of this idea, what expectations I can have, how much I can “request” and how I “break” for what (per installation, per built-in radio etc.) … ? Like me, the problem of liability is there – or how do you see it? What if the car I have made an installation burns after half a year – even if I don’t bear any blame for it myself, especially since everything was covered by the cable cross-section and this was chosen on the basis of the required performance … ? Could one exclude or minimize a warranty/liability, then Felix would be obliged to write a sheet of information, such as if the system were not operated for too long without an engine?

  • Advantages or disadvantages of single or double axle trailers

Moin, wanted to ask, what are the advantages and disadvantages of the individual concepts of the trailers. I personally see at the moment only a serious difference between the types of trailers, and that is shunting. For single-axle trailers it is relatively easy, I personally do not have it so yet to rank it backwards. There are certainly other conceptual advantages and disadvantages. Greeting Mirco
