  • Exchange C320 for S500 W220

    Hello, finally home again. After many years of S-KLasse 126,140 a total of 12 years I had to drive a car that was not worth mentioning. Then the time had come for a Mercedes again. Woman and daughter then almost forced me to a C-Class W 203 (modern, S-Class is what for “Opas” ) could at least fight a C320 with full equipment. That was in March 2005. It followed frustration!!!!!!!!!! The car rattles and rumbles over every unevenness. Usche were fabulous (bad!) Now on Saturday 3.9.05 I get an S500 Bj. 99 with 78 Tkm from the DC dealer in Stuttgart. so finally home again

    Hello friends, my dad and his colleague discussed yesterday which of their cars are running better (Viper RT/10 vs. S55 AMG), the colleague from the dad apparently drives an S55 AMG, now my question, is there a car at all? Have already heard of S500 or S600, but an S55 AMG? He was unfortunately not with the S class with us, but with some 5 BMW!   • immobilizer flashes fast, warning blinker always goes, doesn’t start

    Good morning, I cleaned the cockpit yesterday with my bus. Even a little damp. Suddenly the warning flashing system went on. Thought… ups, maybe there was moisture in it? Switches removed, it still didn’t go off. But it still jumped on. Battery jammed several times. At the latest after 3 minutes the warning flashing system went on again. After the 3rd test it didn’t start any more. I put in a dehumidifier overnight. Warning flashing system no longer works from s However, it no longer starts. The light of the immobilizer always flashes. At the start attempt it flashes fast. Motor orgelt. Light radio etc. works. It has no central locking and I have only one key without IR bulb.   • Master 2 FD no braking performance

    Please for help It started with the brakes repairing in the back because they were stuck. Since I had to wait for the spare parts longer everything was running empty. Then I tried the system to ventilate with little success. I then drove into a workshop which then have all ventilated with moderate success, the heat the pedal was still soft but had the correct braking power. then the car stood about 5 weeks and once again everything empty the complete liquid has got into the I have now given a new HBZY. used brake tongs back and a used ABS control unit. Again, all the vents tried and again everything for the cat. Have asked a machanist what else I can do, he said you need a diagnostic device. Said done and bought Delphi DS150e . there I come to the ABS control unit to vent, have done it as it stands there but also without success. I am grateful for every advice. Mfg Werner

  • Renault Kangoo 1.2 16V no longer starts

    Hello guys. On request I open a new Threat. I have a 2001 1.2 16V Kangoo with disabled WFS. He jumped on worse and worse until after the holiday when the battery was empty and he didn’t jump at all. New battery pure…nix. I switched the crankshaft sensor and the mass band on suspicion. All cables checked for oxidation, fuses, relays and the crash switch. But the spark was missing. The 12V was missing from the plug for the ignition coil. Unfortunately I could not connect to my OBD11 to read out the error memory. The suspicion was that the activation of the WFS was reset due to the longer power loss. The lamp of the WFS flashed and glowed continuously. Always alternately. Then I remembered that with my old Kangoo, even if the WFS is active, it still jumped on and went out again after 2 seconds. So the WFS was out. The next way would have been to measure all the cables. now the solution: I had the steering wheel cover off to control the readering of the WFS. Then a colleague came by with another diagnostic device and we wanted to read out the error memory. No errors to find…!!! Thoughtfully he wobbled at the plugs sitting on the top of the steering column and tried to start it and suddenly he jumped on It was a wobble contact in the left upper plug. I didn’t get to get the circuit diagram yet and don’t know for what But you could have saved yourself the whole preliminary work. My tip with this mistake, first of all to control the plugs on the steering column. I hope it helps someone. MfG Malo

  • Switch Servo Fluid at KIA Sportage

    Hi, I drove again with my father’s KIA Sportage (Bj.:1995, DOHC engine with 85hp?!) and had to find out that the power steering is no longer working. If you try to steer it, then it is very difficult… and now and then the steering wheel twitches something, as if it were working again. Furthermore, it seems to me that the sound of the servo pump is no longer heard. Well, then I have seen if a fuse is defective somewhere. All in all. Then ha b i once opened the container with the servo fluid I checked if there is anything right there anyway. Conclusion: the liquid is there… only it is bad luck-black ;-)… as far as I know it should actually be red or? Can you release the servo fluid yourself or do I have to put it in the workshop? Is there an exhaust screw? How is it best to do this? And which servo fluid do I need for this? Is there anything else special to consider? What would a new e Servo pump cost?   • Escort no longer starts after working on the fuse box

    Good afternoon! I have a Ford Escort built in 95/96. There I had problems with the ventilation, the radio, the clock, the interior lighting, the cigarette lighter. The typical problems with the fuse box so. So after expansion of the fuse box I soldered all eye-catching places and reassembled and connected everything.The ventilation etc now works again! Unfortunately the car doesn’t want to start now! The control lights light up. But if I then the Sc I don’t know what it’s all about, if I forgot something when I was installing it. Everything works – only the engine doesn’t want to start any more. There’s no sound of itself when I turn the key around…. Is there maybe a special fuse that needs to be plugged in somewhere? (apart from the fuses in the front?) Do I have to pay special attention to something? What can I do when assembling the car? What does the mistake sound like, that he doesn’t give any more kicks at the start? Would be very grateful for your help! PS: Safety box is still in the air at the moment – but I don’t think that has anything to do with it. Is everything connected.

  • Total technical damage to Kia Sorento Diesel and nobody cares

    All those who intend to buy a Kia Sorento Diesel should read through my experiences. I bought a new Kia Sorento Diesel ex in July 2004. Since there were delivery times of 12-13 months in Germany, I bought an EU car. In the first 2 years, everything was ok and I drove the car enthusiastically. Unfortunately, there was a drop of wormwood that I was absolutely not satisfied with the workshops in my region. (House and yard workshop ) Nevertheless, we were proud to have such a nice car and to drive. In September 2006, the drama started. After a water pump damage on the highway I was towed to a Kia workshop and it was repaired. For safety reasons, the cylinder head was changed immediately, because it was not clear how much the engine was overheated. Waiting 12 days since it had to be delivered from Korea. Then the problems started. After various and never-ending repeats, I set f the car a water loss. The factory satt told me to empty water after what I did. In September 2007 came the big bang. The turbocharger flatten me on the highway. Be at this time, the Kia stands in the workshop. Sage and write 6 months!!!!! Why? I had a court review done, because the source of error was not quite clear and Kia Germany (which according to EU law ) is responsible, not interested in it. in Dec. 2007, a material error detected at the cylinder head, so that water has penetrated into the engine. Result : Total technical damage !!! I first of all was of the opinion that the damage of Kia will be regulated but Pustekuchen. The legal department of Kia, has not recognized the legal opinion and has commissioned the Dekra to examine the court opinion. This has not yet happened. I have already driven some car marks but at none I was so close I didn’t get a car or anything else. I had to pay for rental cars and everything so far, myself. I don’t know how the whole thing ends. I just wanted to warn you and tell you that you are anything but a customer at Kia !!! Will keep you informed if you are interested.

    moin, my father-in-law thinks about buying a new car, now he had looked at a sorento. after the inspection he was completely excited about the – according to the salesman – the engine should come from daimler chrysler, and the landing gear comes from the prosche cayenne. all these occasions I defused naturally immediately, how does it come to soche ideas? is anything true? never, right? that the engine comes from any joint venture can I’d imagine that under circumstances, but that with suspension is totally bullshit.   • Kia Sportage 2.0 CRDI loses diesel help !!!

    Hello people, the sportage of my brother-in-law EZ:05 83kw. loses diesel. First you noticed that there was one foot under the car, but we didn’t know what that coolant or whatever. Then it smelled like diesel in the car! And constantly everything was still running down in the engine room you could see everything liquid. Did the engine cover off and started the engine then came on the engine block a “part” ran a lot of diesel out on it stand BOSCH. I guess something with the injection, but I’m not sure have tried to tighten whether it might be loose, but it was definitely so probably a ripped or whatever. Please help me further the car is already standing since yesterday evening and certainly does not have much fuel in it this morning was already the advertisement at the bottom. Was bought the in June 2005 has the still warranty ? So what soltle my brother-in-law make in the contract workshop bring ? He has never been to the service and has thought a ch they wouldn’t do anything on guarantee. he has 38,000km on it. Do you know maybe what that is, or what you can do best? If you can get a replacement car from the dealer? Because he needs the car professionally he is always on the road. I am happy if you can help further. You all still a happy party!!!
