  • Dangerous defects?

Hello, I bought me a Ford Escort (94) about 6 months ago. TÜV was also made directly. I did not take the hints or defects listed there seriously at first. because if you get the badge it will probably not be so wild. Only now comes my skepticism… 2 faults should be apparently net so harmless, therefore my question to you: Can the following defects become dangerous to me? 1. outdated brake fluid 2. Left and right slight porousness of the brake hose In addition, I would also have liked to know if you can wear matures on an axis 2 (same size!) And if I’m already there, would be nice if you could tell me if you get TÜV with a defective rear windscreen wiper at all (not listed in the report, but lack existed!) Thank you for your help!!!

  • Lack of operational reliability due to economical instrumentation?

Hi, in recent decades, automobile construction has made enormous progress, but one aspect seems to have somehow remained on the road: the instrumentation of the vehicles. Today, apart from tachometers, tachometers, tank clocks and cooling water thermometers, one is rarely offered more (and some manufacturers are already starting to save on the cooling water thermometer). I believe that at least the first two of the above instruments are indispensable, but one knows how important correct temperature and pressure of the oil are for a long engine life. Since the instruments and their donors do not cost a fortune, I think it is simply for saving in the wrong place, if these instruments are partly missing even in vehicles beyond the 40,000 euro price class. What are the manufacturers doing with the waiver of a proper I Should people often buy a new car, because the old car made the greaves, because he was beaten too often already shortly after the cold start into the limiter…?

  • Headset allowed or not?

Now that the telefone in the car with mobile phone on the ear has become really expensive, rumors are also increasingly going around that it has to be a “real” hands-free device since 1.4. Heatsets (even those with Bluetooth, so “with no cord” are no longer allowed, whether the mobile phone itself is in a bracket or not. So what is it now?

  • Bad morning, flashed

Moin Only yesterday evening I couldn’t sleep and now that: When I woke up this morning I knew immediately that I had slept. I then sat in the car and drove off to work. Then in the next village it flashed. I was caught at 70 km/h in a 50 zone. I just wanted to make up for some time….that was probably nothing. I was first flashed, the car is registered to my parents. But what comes at 70km/h (according to Tacho) in e in the 50 zone towards me? Unfortunately still in the probation period.

  • The best fuel saving tips…

we look into the facts: the opec will keep the crude oil price high for not foreseeable time. the Americans will buy even more European gasoline because of lack of refining capacity. the tax shares in the German gasoline will continue to remain an indispensable part of the budget planning. the oilmultis will, without twitching with the lash, always cut off the maximum profit from the end product gasoline. boycott calls as here in the forum of often reading are probably not the law I think, however, that a collection of the best spritspartips is useful. many drivers know how to reduce the consumption of one or the other trick, and that’s something that is sometimes heeded, well, let’s see what comes together here… ps: unfortunately, there is no environment/spar subforum here, so I opened this thread here once.

  • Warranty extension at Opel ???

Hello, my father has recently bought an Opel Astra DTI 75 PS Built 05/03 with 28TKM. Now according to the display a service is available at 30TKM. According to the manufacturer, the car has a factory warranty for almost a whole year – so what if he had the inspection at a free workshop (e.g. ATU) which can also be carried out according to the manufacturer’s regulations inspections. Then the factory warranty expires ?? At VW it is the case that one adheres to the normal factory warranty a connection guarantee (not mobility garage) antie) can buy, but on condition that you give your car regularly at VW for inspection. Is that also so at Opel??? Has anyone had experiences here ???? Thank you for your answers ! Greetings Bjoern83

  • 9-3 Aero Cabrio – Phantom clapping…

Hello Saab community, have a 2003 Aero-Cabrio and with it a “gespenstische” problem: if I drive with the left rear wheel over – even small – floor waves, Gully cover etc. there is (feeled) from the back left a pitiful tinkering noise – but not always (!) … so let’s go to the buddy on the lifting stage – all wacked through, knocked, shaken (not stirred) – NIX! boot cleared out – nothing that could clap in it… .. Saab Werkstatt (Kaiser Fischbach) does everything – RATLOSITY and more lively rattles… Did one of you have such a thing? In the opinion of all “experts” it can’t be something important – but it is megalysed and messed up the whole Cabriovergügen…

  • Fucking clattering on the front axle

Hey my Essi tournament BJ99 1.8TD had received new crossbars on the front axle a year ago.. And recently new pendulum supports and some rubber buffers.. for the stabilizers… The reason for this(?!) was that the axle was like a sour flapper with small bumps (cracks on the road, impact holes and especially cobblestones).. this sound I can not reproduce myself.. because it was so violent!…so if you skin 2 pieces of 4 edge tube very quickly together .. Well, anyway, the car was back on stage yesterday (but not because of the front axle) and when I drove off that was exactly the same rattle again (were probably going to happen when he didn’t stand on stage) But now my question is why is 1000km after renewing the parts of this rattle back? because it was all completely gone.. knows jmd why, or if it has other causes. The shock absorbers are always ok!
