W140 Cold-empty speed
Does anyone have any idea how high the cold-empty speed of the W140 S500 should be? Do my car always have to stand in the garage, but last night outside at icy temperatures. When I started the engine, the cold-empty speed was about 1500-1600 rpm, which seemed pretty high to me. Is the normal or should it be a lower speed if yes, HOW, WO, and with WHAT can this be regulated? Thanks for information.

Rear flaps
… since a few days our CooperD enjoys driving over bumps (throwing holes, gulli lid etc.) with a flap that comes from behind. Thought it would be something in the trunk. But even after I have cleared the completely empty, the flap is still there. Also the tailgate is not, this rubber buffer has been screwed out a little further, flaps was still there. Over at the …info I have read about a defective rubber on the stabis of the rear axle, the so-called Has anyone ever had the problem with you? I hate it when something clatters on or in the car Heinz

Renault Clio B 2.0 Sport – Detonator DF110
Hello everyone, my Clio has been bothering me with sporadic ignition oscillations as soon as it is warm for quite some time now. I have recently had the problems also when turning up in idle and accelerating. The control unit recently reports DF110 (destructive misignition) as well as misignition on cylinders 1 and 3. The following possible sources of error have already been tested: – spark plugs: all only 15Tkm in and optically, exchange between the cylinders does not allow the error to move – ignition cable: au ch only 15Tkm in it, no nibble or scrubbing tracks – two-circuit ignition coil: Exchanged for original new part of Renault (old had cracks in plastic), no improvement – compression: All cylinders between 12 and 13 bar – injection valves: runtime/age unknown, replacement of injection valves does not make the error move I pull cylinder 2 off the ignition coil the engine hardly runs any more, with cylinder 3 the least deterioration in the round run. Since the two-circuit ignition coil always zw a cylinder fired at the same time (1 and 4 as well as 2 and 3) I have put cylinder 3 at coil output 2. Now the engine with cylinder 1-3-4 runs just as well as before with 1-2-4. If I hadn’t already changed the ignition coil for a new one, I would have been the first suspect. What is left of error causes? -OT-Geber? -Control unit? I would be grateful for suggestions or corrections of my previous analysis. MfG Robert

Timing belt change mode
Hi, I’m driving a Renault mode BJ 2004. He ran 65,000 km. At the Renault dealer I had a maintenance table and an estimate for a timing belt change printed. According to the maintenance table, the timing belt has to be changed every 5 years or at 120,000 km. My car has now considerably less km (65,000), but is 7 years old, i.e. from the years already 2 years above the border. So should the timing belt be changed? Then to Angebo t of the Renault dealer: Timing belts incl. water pump renew and V-belt set with tensioning guide role renew= 799.04 Euro. Is this too expensive? Here are some individual items: Water pump Zc11 = 100.45 Rep.Set Nm11=171,90 Rep.Set Yq15= 63,56 Working time 6,1 x 81= 494,10 Then there was another small item, on the total amount there was a special discount. Complete price, as mentioned: 799 Euro. My questions: 1.Is the timing belt change necessary? 2.Is the offer of the Renault specialist works att OK? 3. The appointment is next week Friday. Should I not drive at all until then or can I drive very short distances (max 5km)?

EGR-Ventil at Clio 4
Hello together, have read out the error memory of my Clio 4 Diesel BJ2013 (dci90) and get the error P1485 – according to Google search a jammed EGR valve. As the car next month to the HU/AU I have to show it to the dealer, because a working exhaust gas cleaning can be of advantage for the plaque yes π That confirms to me: EGR valve added / clamped. Must be completely changed. Cost point: 600β¬. That surprised me then nevertheless. Is in itself “only” a ve The most expensive point on the estimate is an exhaust pipe with an exhaust pipe for just under 331β¬ – I was surprised that a complete exhaust pipe has to be replaced because of a valve… I wanted to listen to your opinion. Does this really have to be changed so comprehensively? Can a cleaning make sense? Or are the parts always changed as soon as they are clamped? Bzw can generally explain to me what the difference between the valves is. I’m a little surprised that the EGR in the Clio is probably only hanging so late in the exhaust line. I’m curious to hear from you. Thank you in advance!

ABS and further lamps glow!!
Hello everyone, have above display in mode D4F 740 (3333/ACI), BJ 07, 190 tkm. After reading out with clip: power supply ABS control gear. After deletion and repeated testing allea ok. But: as soon as the box drives, the message comes back permanently. Then search for defective wheel sensors. Could not find any brake discs/drums… There are also no cables to find. Strange. Also the ABS without ESP would have to have that! Now I wanted to check the power supply of the ECU, is That with 36 pins. But how the hell do I get the plug off? There must be a rigging that does not know Clio and workshop instructions are available. Who of the half-/full-pros can/will help me? mfg eddie [Transferred from motor talk from the topic ‘Warning in display “brake system defective” in mode’.]

Ignition problems R5
Hello everyone, I hope I’m right here, even if R5 is not on the list. To make it short. I have a stainless R5, born 1986, standing in front of the door. But the box brings me to despair. About 4 weeks ago I drove nonstop over 600 km by car. At the destination arrived, car parked, drank a coffee and then wanted to drive into a pub. I arrived about 5 km then the engine just stops. After about an hour vain try to get a taxi, ZΓΌ The next day, he went to a Renault workshop to inspect. New candles, oil filters, oil. It was found that all the lights had been burned in the entire rear area. For this reason, there was a cable break between tailgate and chassis. All the trucks were replaced. I lead home. So back the 600 km. But made a stop at a stop. When I wanted to start again, he didn’t jump on. I decided that I would have a coffee for the time being. The remaining 200 km took the car without any problems. Arrived back home, parked and the next morning he immediately jumped on again. In the following time the distances that I can put back became shorter and shorter. After consultation with the Renault workshop I have the OT-Geber, alternator (light flickered) and today the ignition coil (the complete ignition box was too expensive for me) against new parts. cht. Well, after today’s ignition coil change he just ran about 1km. Then he turned off without a reason and without a noise (as always). Like someone turned the ignition key. Who knows advice. RDKS sensors
Hello, I plan to buy new aluminium for the summer and need matching RDKS sensors with valve. Vehicle KIA PROCEED GT 2023 which can be ordered and there is the possibility to get ready programmed. OEM cost 260 β¬ would not be averse over a cheaper option. Thank you!

Experiences Arosa 1,0l
Hello, think about buying for my sister an Arosa 1.0 base 8/1998 with ABS with 82tkm for 4,100β¬ (dealer). What do I have to bear in mind when buying? How expensive is the soon due timing belt change? What have you done for experience with motor/gear? These engines have a problem with the “freezing” in winter during spa track operation. Is there anything retrofitted by VW/Seat on Kulanz, or do they only act in case of damage, as a Seat dealer told me? What does the 1.0 ltr. s consume? o on average (does a lot of highways run at 100 km/h)? Are there typical weak points? I am grateful for every answer! Greetings, Andy
