Good day to everyone. I come from Pforzheim and have been driving my beloved Opel record D 1700 S, bj 1972 for about 7 years. He was always a loyal fermented one, but at the moment he only touches very stubbornly from the spot. Maybe someone has had a similar problem here and can help me. So start with: My engine has been having problems for a long time. Does not accept gas, goes out constantly and runs quite difficult. In the upper speed range lä When expanding the carburettor (solex didta 32/32) there was a nozzle in the float chamber and a little bit of about 2 mm diameter? I assume that this is the ball valve??? Does anyone know if the ball has to be placed under the valve in the lateral shaft in the float housing? I am of course happy about every info as a newcomer. I try to attach 2 pictures. Nice greetings to everyone, Steffen.

Mini Cooper S R53 sound better
Hey! I have a Cooper S R53 Bj. 2003. With my car everything is still series and I wanted to ask how to make it sound a bit more sparkling or kernelier? I prefer the cheapest (despite the good) and legal method. 🙂 Have already thought about getting an ESD from Bastuck but this should become very loud at some point. Can you help me there? Please look forward to your answers. 🙂

MINI One 2008 – Nothing but trouble (engine)
We bought the car about 2 months ago and have only problems since then. It is a Mini One R56 1.4, built in 2008 with 95ps and meanwhile 91,000km. The problem is if you want to start the mini cold it usually goes out directly again. Sounds like the driving times are not right, but this always happens after 1-2 seconds. In addition, you can hear “Backfire” in the intake during the engine goes out. was recently already.. so read out and see there “Inlet camshaft control faulty” So first the usual culprits (inlet magnet valve and sensor replaced). So far so good.. Car ran since then (1800-2000km) however it has started again and worse than before. As soon as you hold the speed for a few seconds at approx. 2000rpm the mini runs quite normal until the next cold start. I don’t want to mention the oil consumption at all because obviously loud Forums “”normal””” is with the engine..

Speed dependent noise from engine compartment
Hello, the MKL lights up at my Mini One Convertible, EZ 06/2015. 97,000 KM. I’ve been hearing a clacker from the engine compartment for some time now, when you’re gasting. Also while driving. Do I kick the clutch, it’s gone…. Does anyone have any idea? Chain tensioner? Steering chain? Have only been on 14.4. appointment in the workshop. Thank you!

Kadett D Diesel winter problem
Hello, I have a Kadett D Caravan Diesel, which runs perfectly in summer, but has massive problems in winter to start. Due to the mileage of almost 450,000km I assume that a poor compression is the cause here. Now I have thought to warm up the sucked air with the preliminary glow (approx. 80W, parallel to the glow plugs, self-construction from soldered weed plate with heating spirals from an old hair dryer as purpose in front of the air filter). Greetings, Oliver.

Funny speed problem ABT, help?!?
Evening people Just in advance, did not find anything in the search. As I said, my ABT has a bit of fun around. On the way home straight away I noticed at some point at a traffic light that my standing speed is 500 revolutions. Normal are almost 1000. The mot didn’t go out and I could also drive on quite normally (if you want to get home at first, in the cold). No loss of performance, no nothing at all, ran also on all four pötten. At home, I arrived, I first I can remember that my ABT already went underboard about 2 months ago after a cold start, in the morning after the night shift as I always wanted to go home, every now and then (about 1-2 seconds), but caught itself again and again. If I left the car in the early shift at night in the garage, he always jumped on normally. I did nothing further and only wondered. After about 3-4 weeks also was coplett Quiet, until today. And then even so thick. What could that be? Some temperature sensor? Think about the problem only in the cold type phase because he was already warm at home and after the start again everything went normal. Hmm? Would you be very DANKBAR for every help!

NEW COUPLING BY 4 MONTHS AS A RELEASE; GUARANTEE ? ASSISTANCE
Hello municipality, with my wife her Clio was replaced 4 months ago the clutch on guarantee, takeover of 100 % by Renault. Now seems to show again a defect on the clutch, probably outback bearings or gears. It is a rattle to hear clackers, when you step the clutch pedal, the noise has disappeared, as soon as you let go of the clutch again, starts the clacking again. As already with Renault, the workshop master also says that the Geräusc Since the clutch is virtually new, we wanted a new exchange, but we were informed that there is no guarantee or warranty requirements at 100% takeover, is that so correct? It can not be that you get no warranty on new parts !? Engine is the 0.9TcE, my wife unfortunately only has problems with the “carrier”. Clio 4 GT-Line 0.9TcE 90PS. Thank you for your efforts.

Tüv says I have to have my steering wheel registered?
Hi guys, I’ve got a 32-piece Raid steering wheel. In the ABE I can only install the steering wheel if the tyre combination is right for the car. And tyres I have 205/50/R15 on it. Are these not normally approved rims on the Audi 80? At the Tüv I was unfortunately not there myself because I was at school. I didn’t have to do a Tüv but only let the chassis and the exhaust system take off. But that’s what he told my father. And if there’s an accident there’s supposed to be Sc There was no TÜV Süd but one where GTÜ or GTU is written on it. MFG Dom

Goodyear ultragrip 8 loud rolling noise?!?
Hello, I’ve been installing the new Goodyear ultragrip 8 for about 3 weeks! Had to test all kinds of road surfaces. On the whole the tire is really top!! Only one thing I noticed negatively: On wet road surfaces one hears the rolling noise of the tire very loudly when the vehicle accelerates, I think that the new gearing technology of the tire is to blame. I am generally quietly used to mature from Goodyear :-/ (UG7+) Have a 2nd new set au fn another car mounted(there the same) On the other hand, the tire is really top! I also noticed the narrow construction of the UG8. LG
