  • ByeBye AUDI 90

Hello everybody, today I sold my AUDI 90 Quattro heavy heart, but already long overdue. I just ran out of time for this hobby. So: eyes to and through, “hobby resolution” Well, the car has gone into good hands and is also in good condition. I was still for sale at TÜVNord for the purpose of checking through and except for dissolved dust protection cuffs on the shock absorbers and a 50% one-sided handbrake was all “plate-fit”. two AUDI freaks came by in a Type81 coupé and appreciated the good condition of my 90s, gave me after a short negotiation what I wanted for it. That was very important to me, because actually I didn’t want to put the car away but before he was acided because of “dead” the boys should take care of him. In addition, our Golf 2 went away last weekend and on Tuesday we get a Passat TSI Variant Jo, accordingly depend I am officially from this forum area, but will certainly look in here and there. CU and thank you for the help, tips and suggestions!!!! Markus

  • Motor slows down

Hello, so as already mentioned opener my 1.8 PM after 337,000 running killometers makes slowly but surely sluggish. For me also no problem further as such things do not evade my professional knowledge. My question is now whether it would be cheaper to have the piston rings re-made (as these are so from the bottom of the line you don’t believe) or whether it is cheaper to shoot a new engine at Ebay oä.? Thanks already in advance Mfg Julius

  • Illumination failure on the Audi 80 B3 Type 89 instrument cluster

Hello guys, I recently bought an Audi 80 1.8 S B3 Type 89 as a second car, especially for the winter. The car is year 11/1987 and runs so far still quite well. Now I would like to ask you for your help with the following problem. Since some lamps had failed in the instrument cluster, I had to worry new ones to replace the bad ones. Said, done! First everything went according to schedule. When I had replaced the defective light bulb for the fuel indicator lighting and there The only lighting that still works is for the digital clock. Otherwise all other lamps are dark! (DZM, Tacho, Motortemp.-Display and Tank Display) Can someone tell me what it can be? All other functions, such as DZ, speed, tank content, engine temp. and the control lights for Batt. oil pressure etc. are still in order. I have also changed the corresponding fuse already tried out, le ider without success! Could it possibly be due to the rotary control for the brightness setting? What is surprising is the fact that the newly inserted lamp for the digital clock works, but all the other newly used lamps and the still existing original incandescent lamps do not! I cannot explain this circumstance. Thank you for your efforts! Greetings from sammy_140206

  • Rotating front wheels.

Hello guys! I scraped my scorpio and bought me a short time 100er Avant 2,3E year 1990. Cool part! Four years older and 100,000 Km (305,000) more on the speedo, but goes like a hack. Now my question as a new front drive user: Front drive is always praised as a panacea in wet, ice and snow. When I buy new cars at approx. 50-60 Km/h in the 2nd gear (wet road) , the wheels turn through and the car pulls me right off the road. Wa Is that normal for a frtonttriebler of this power? I preferred the rear drive… …sack cement in the back and off.

  • Clio A Built ́95 – Battery indicator sometimes lights up…

Hello you! Since last weekend I noticed with my little Clio that the battery indicator lights up every now and then, but goes out again after a short time. The car starts perfectly, has no misfires and also I can not complain! Now the question arises to me – what is it?? Is it possible to charge the battery just once? In other forums I have read that maybe the lighting system is defective, but the Clio drivers in which the Fa ll was, just had the problem, that the car didn’t or only sprung after several misfires. So I hope that you can calm me down by telling me that it might be really enough to just recharge the battery again. 😉 By the way, I only bought the car for 5 months with a one-year used car warranty. I called the dealer earlier and told him the problem. He said, if it really is the alternator, then Is that right??? Where else have I read that the alternator is in the guarantee if problems arise in the first 6 months after the contract is concluded…. A lot of questions, I know, but I still hope that one of you can help me quickly! 🙂 Thank you very much in advance! 🙂 LG woolfivieh PS: Add a picture of my Clio – he was still standing at the dealer au f the farm! 😉

  • Handlebars, wheel suspension?? Tray joint? Need urgent help!!

Hello, when I was changing tyres a week ago, the mechanic found out that my supporting joints were knocked out on both sides, it is at least on the bill. He told me about very heavy wear, and that the joints used to be made of other, better material and they are now made of rubber or plastic and therefore break down about every 3 years… My question: Which part do I have to buy now? On the cost estimate (700Euro) stands handlebars, wheel suspension, on which Invoice for tyre change stands “Tragkleib left und rechts geschlagt” Am now totally unsafe. Should I buy handlebars, wheel suspension or supporting joints??? I have a Renault Clio 3 (3333/AAO) 2 years old, KM Stand 46000 Would be good if someone could write me a link to the parts I have to buy! Or just any information, am totally overwhelmed. THANK YOU!!!! Greetings Therese

  • Perforated brake disc at 350 is joined

Hello, problem: In my 350er, the holes of the brake disc appeared to be fitted with brake dust. I determined it yesterday when I was driving backwards from a parking gap and had no braking effect. In further driving during braking, the pedal imme harder when I was standing on the brake longer or several times successively on the brake. As soon as the discs seemed to cool down, the pressure point was back to normal. The question now arises: Why do you sit down? The holes close themselves and how can I get them clean again without immediately unscrewing the wheels and tediously popping out the dirt with a screwdriver.

  • Clio 3. Bad suspension normal?

Our clio 3 is built in 2012. One of the last. Have it since 2012. At that time he drove super also with 160kmh. So no driving behavior as now you have fear from 110kmh to overtake because he drives spongy. And is wind prone. He has about 91000 km. Was only just at the inspection and at the chassis had to be renewed nothing. So this seems normal?? With a boschservice with brake cylinder at the rear and brakes almost 700 euro the inspection. Very expensive or what do you say? yes clutch is also not the best and I think he creates exhaust also only 20000km. Will then be quite expensive for such a small car. But is just covert .mal see how long we still do this to ourselves. In addition, the doors crack mostly when opening. Vllt they fall off soon. What are your clio 3 experiences? Incidentally, is a 1.2 75ps with hardly any equipment. The said inspection was of course without the timing belt which would soon also be up after 6 years now or h old 120000km
