  • Battery/generator problems with W220

    Hello, I drive an S-Class (W220 400CDI BJ 01 Model 2002) to all I had yesterday morning during the ride the volgende problem. On the display appeared once the symbol (BATTERY/GENERATOR REQUESTS) and the AUTOMATIC LIGHT went off. The car drove but continued to have a short hand manuel turned on passing light and the light went home as quickly as possible. In short, all systems shortly before the failure. BATTERIE TOT. New battery in made car also starts well. A diagnosis was made error could not be fixed. AUTO… LIGHT still doesn’t work. I believe that the LIMA is broken or (the regulator just USE). My question is: 1. You have to build the whole front outside? Just as I saw it. 2. What about the water cooler or climate cooler? Extensions or how? 3. Does climate have to be filled NEW? etc….   • Engine stutters in case of acceleration

    Maybe someone can help me; Gt is 5 years with almost 40000km.Between 4500-5000 turns he stutters briefly,like when the speed limiter comes,was already in the workshop and there were 3 out of 4 ignitions defective. Problem is still there.Question anyone knows the problem????

    Hello together, bought a car in mid-February (A5) and after about 4-5 weeks the exhaust control light went on – Audiwerkstatt found faults and gave me an estimate of about 1000€. I paid 170€ for the visit. I bought it from the car dealer and have a normal purchase contract. My car dealer said he did not know if he agreed to mail him the estimate. Now for 2 weeks he doesn’t answer, does not answer the phone, etc. What should I do? Go to the lawyer? Consumer protection center or similar? Get car repaired, or wait? I hope it won’t get worse, it can happen that e.g. the DPF filter clogs up. Then the costs increase. Thank you for your help, Sebastian P.S.   • Scratching brakes while stopping

    Hello, maybe one of you also has this phenomenon and can help me. I have an Omega Caravan 2.5 V6 automatic from ’98 and although there are problems with braking, the automatic seems to be (with)responsible. With each stop just before the stop (so the last 2m) the brakes squeak very loudly and crackle and crunch until the stop, the car jerks along. After stopping, I easily release the brake, so that the car starts rolling, but do It is deafening and sounds like an old Russian truck. However, if I switch to “N” before stopping, so take out the gear, I can slow down softly to a standstill as it should be. My FOH said that it can’t turn this off, because the power that gives the automatic to the drive. In the meantime, I could already connect to the speed. Today I drove a little overland to get a feeling for the car. I had to find out that the engine is a little weak for its high weight.     So, I’ve had the omi for a good four weeks. 2.2 DTI 53000 Km on the clock. For a week I know that he has a heater. But, the ZH doesn’t run. I crawled under under the fenders.
