After a good 1 week with the vehicle I found the first point which is not well solved or I am too stupid to set it. The two buttons to adjust the temperature are large and easy to operate, but the reading of the temperature is not well solved. Either the cover is mirrored or it is too dark. The adjustment of the valve lighting also did not manage any remedy. So I am too “doof” for it or someone has a tip how to read it ka nn? Yes, the function also goes via the touch display, but only in the “submenu”, I know that the display is briefly displayed in the display and disappears. And before the “principle discussion” comes here again :-), I am still looking for the “perfect degree number” and then I don’t play around anymore.

must the battery be registered from the Xceed PHEV CD at replacement?
Moin in the round. I have been having the problem for a long time that my Kia Connect app battery reports “attention” or warning”. I then charged it with a Ctec charger, but the messages come despite charging and driving again and again. Voltage is measured more often, with message about 12.4V. I type that it is already gone after only 3 years. Do you have to register something with a tester like with Audi or BMW, or simply exchange and good?

Bad (caputte?) automatic dipped-beam
Good day together In the last 2 weeks I have the problem that the shadow of trees is enough to turn on the dipped light. It is only enough if I have the sun in the back, that the dipped light is almost permanently active on. If the sun shines sideways or from the front it works normally until just a shadow comes. In the summer I mostly drove without automatics, in order not to blind my work colleagues when parking in the morning, therefore I have now And if you don’t know which sensor of this is responsible for it, then I can test it with a flashlight.

Presentation
Hello together, I wanted to introduce myself briefly. I am the Maik, come from Hagen and am since 03.11.2023 proud owner of a Kia XCeed GT-Line (but still have to wait a good 2 weeks until the delivery is done). “Come” originally from Opel (after 27 years changed), because I last neither with the vehicle (Astra K with Bi-Turbo-Diesel, engine damage (at 80 thousand KM – chain skipped on the day of the Opel measure) and after 5 months waiting time (because engine block is no longer available) and ic h was very dissatisfied with the workshop and communication. So no one wants something like this, no matter which manufacturer I am right now quite postively tuned that it becomes much more pleasant with Kia and the new workshop (even if I read here that there is “Zipperlein” here and there 🙂 ) . So I will also contribute if I have to contribute constructively to the topics. VG Maik

Year-round tyres
Has someone decided on all-year tyres on his new Ceed CD? I have mounted the Michelin Crossclimate+ in 225/45 R17. I chose this type because the current test results are very good. However, the tyres run so incredibly loud and rough, when cornering is a clear whims on account of the V-profile. I’m going to invest in another set again. Recommendations???

soft and thin coating Ceed GT
Hello together, after spending some time reading, I decided to open a new post. My current is a KIA pro Ceed BJ2011. Next week I get the KIA Ceed GT as ordered new car. I have already read more in various forums and groups that the paint would be very thin and also soft. I drive a lot of road and highway and did not really want the paint to look like a sprinkle cake after a short time. I have already caught up with ceramic seals and protective foils. I have paid for the car “bar” and of course have no unlimited budget for an everyday vehicle over. In the case of ceramic seals only the smallest damage is prevented. In addition, the term “chemical connection” to the paint is a thorn in my eye. Should a larger scratch be treated or repaired via Spot Repair there are certainly problems or differences to the rest of the car. t of course a lot more expensive, but of course protect more, doesn’t it?! Does it look like a sprinkling cake after a short time? What about the color difference when removing it? And please don’t come with self-healing now That’s only possible conditionally and with warmth. Have also seen terrible pictures with which the clear varnish has completely dissolved after a stone blow. Can this happen when the foil is removed? Does someone have long-term experiences with verse igelungen/Schutzfolien or also like other long-term protection for the varnish? I am open to many possibilities, but must be able to understand them (there probably the technician comes out in me ) Thanks already for your answers and sorry for the long text

Experiences on the GJ automatic
We are looking for a new mobile kit and the Mazda 6 has also made it into the circle of the chosen ones. The design of the station wagon is exactly mine and then also in the red from the advertising… I find awesome. The 150 hp diesel or the 165 hp petroler would be in question. Both as automatic. Our Fahprofile looks like this: Ca 18tkm a year, under the week 70% city, at the weekend highway with 50 to 100km long stages. If you look around like this, j a almost only positive. Only with the brakes and with the particle filters there are probably problems. Can someone say more about the 2 topics? I would also like to know which of the two aggregates fits better with the automatic. Is the automatic at all recommended? The Mazda salesman said that the transmission would be the fleshy dream of every automatic fetishist (well, that’s not how he expressed himself, but let’s say he was quite impressed with the automatic). Intended by a double clutch transmission and a automatic converter and would be absolutely free of friction even when starting up and speeding up strongly. Hope you can help me further. Until then, Erkan

Mazda 6 Rugging at Acceleration
Hello together, I bought a Mazda 6, 2,3L, Kombi Bj. 2003 a few weeks ago. He has about 75,000 km down. Unfortunately I have a problem. If I am acceleration and in a range from 1500 to 2000 revolutions, then he is jerking. It is rather a soft jerking and especially noticeable when driving up the mountain. In cold condition it is much stronger than in warm. Even after a longer motorway ride he has jerked. Had it now already the third time in the workshop. First of all, it is much stronger than in warm. After the diagnosis examination they thought it would lie on an ignition cable and replaced it. Without success. The second time the ignition coil was replaced and the lamda probe was checked. Also without success. And the third time they installed new spark plugs and a new air volume meter. And of course also without success. Now when I picked up my Mazda last week, I got to hear from the workshop that they did not carry out further investigations and work on the F and that they allegedly telephoned with Mazda and that this jerking is quite normal for this series! Can someone help me further what that could be. Because I can’t imagine something like that at Mazda! Thanks already!

Paint damage on the front lip + radar after washing
Hi, I washed my ProCeed GT-Line yesterday as usual with my hand and high-pressure cleaner. He has not seen a washing system or road from the inside yet. As a new car he now got exactly 30,000 km on the tacho. So now to the problem: I have as always applied insect cleaner from Nigrin, let in after instruction and then cleaned the area with the Kärcher dirt milling machine. And at several places the paint is peeled off (see photos) distance vo I kept up to 20-30 cm. Has anyone experienced it the same way? I’ll drive to the dealer tomorrow and then see what he says about it.
