Hello, I have been told several times that the StVO on a stop sign not too long ago only demanded that all the tyres have to stand still in front of the stop line. This gap should have been exploited by some “specialists” by climbing the brake just once before a stop sign, so that the tyres blocked but did not stop. Through this gap they allegedly got away with it. Only later the regulation was to have been changed for this reason. . Is this story true? mfG

Prosecution of the manufacturer (product liability)
Hello, As a result of the long-running foggy windows in a VW Passat with Klimatronic, I was at my car dealership and it was found that the heat exchanger is leaking, and coolant has been getting into the interior of the vehicle for weeks through the ventilation. My Passat is 5 years old and has 84,000 km down and I drive to work with it every day. At the same time, I have had a strong, ignited eye irritation and a strong flu that does not want to fade away. The complaints I see in connection with the coolant in the vehicle. I plan to go to a doctor and examine my blood on traces of this coolant ! What prospects would a lawsuit against the manufacturer have regarding product liability . Who has already done this ? What can this mean in D for a financial compensation ? I am grateful for suggestions ! Thanks in advance & greetings !

Prob. with the law
I was filmed in Berlin on the city highway by a fat Mercedes. After a little argument with my girlfriend I was a little faster on the way. The Mercedes followed me constantly penetrant. He followed me strictly with every lane change. That went totally on me cookie. Now in the report I are attached to 4 speeds and a right overtaking. I also could not comment on it. Costs : 560 Euro and 3month driving ban. Now a question: is there somewhere free legal assistance or help (have no legal protection) And I saw on the TV times a report, there you wanted to attach someone also several driving violations on a stretch. – It was said on the TV that this is not right because you can only be punished for one and not for all together. They have all violations added up …. Has someone experienced or a helpful tip?

Normal Diesel vs Mild Hybrid Diesel
Moin from the north. I’m interested in an xceed with a diesel engine as 136 hp variant. I don’t know what to buy. The normal or the mild hybrid. Has any of you ever driven both versions and could give me a tip which one is better? Or don’t you notice that? I like to read your answers and say thank you.

To activate the eSIM to the friendly?
Hello, since yesterday I can welcome my new sweetheart (Xceed PHEV Plug-In-Hybrid Platinum). Picked up at the dealer in Mannheim I was already a bit stutzig, that in the multimedia system on the top right no symbol for the reception of the eSIM was visible, UVO/Kia Live did not work either. First on the reception/network cover pushed. Then at home (about 80 km west) yesterday evening and this morning same behavior. Reset on the MM system did not bring any change. After call to the Hä ndler should I now make a workshop appointment. Question in the round, since I am not alone with the topic: Can Kia/the dealer really only unlock this with a car on site? Or did this work with anyone without a workshop appointment? Greeting Thomas

Carlifter Kia Ceed SW (CD)
Hello dear forum, at the risk that I am now totally embarrassed, I ask my question anyway. So far I have changed my tyres myself and so far I had always used the original jack of the car. At my wife’s Kia Ceed SW Diesel there is unfortunately no jack of the car, only the breakdown set. After question at the Kia dealer almost hit me. Over 80 euros for the original jack of the car, I find it a bit exaggerated. Now there is this Universal Hydraulic Wa I would not be limited to Kia, but would also have a jack for other vehicles. What do I have to pay attention to? There are such rubber buffers as an edition for the fold under the car. Would I be very happy about helpful answers.

Replacement wheel: what to equip with?
Welcome to today’s riddle question with (hopefully) practical benefits Let’s imagine that we are somewhere with friends on a Sunday, a few kilometers from the home port, and when we leave the place, we find that some tires have decided to get rid of the annoying overpressure. Anyone who wants (or has to) to get home on the highway in this situation, and not only “to the next workshop” (which has to…), and also no desire for an ADAC-O rgie (just as a non-member) is, of course, happy about his useful tool and (instead of a spare wheel and flick-resistant Tirefit) full-fledged spare wheel… but, that is in most cases as old as the car, and in my case this already has half the H-mark behind it. And even if a tire in the UV-protected sheet metal pit ages less than an mounted one, it is no longer to be expected with the original wheel guide and the driving behaviour can change in the direction of adventure depending on the weather. And a summer tire is also what doesn’t make things better. Then you get angry, if you didn’t take care of it earlier, to take care of an alternative here. The first-aid kit steril part is also exchanged regularly, even if TÜV & co have always overlooked it and you never want to need it. The options are (in the rough, who knows more can say): – old summer tires from Leave 1998 on the unused steel rim and hope that it will not rain or snow in an emergency. – old winter tires after testing (the best of the 4) can be pulled onto the steel rim and hope that thanks to directional binding in an emergency it will catch one on the right side – new retreaded all-year or winter tires with non-track-bound profile can be mounted and hope that it is better than one of the previous variants Or in short: curing vs. directional ung vs. Cheapheimer. What would you like to drive around now if there is no serious alternative in the situation? (and please don’t make any probability calculations, that’s not the point of the question)

Recommendation new winter tyres
Hello community! At the last tire change from summer to winter bikes I thought that can’t be true, in one of the new summer tires a screw was stuck… Lucky luck, the retracted screw didn’t go through the profile, and the ripening steals the air… Well, calmly changed to the winter wheels. had already thought of getting a new set before the winter, but I decided that the tires will last 1 winter. Today I sit in my car and go, think What’s that funny noise? The popometer told me, somehow you’re sitting wrong… Right, looking, back right is a flat foot… Apparently I drove something into the rubber again… Now, of course, I need a quick new set of WR, have no balls to bend with the emergency bike through the area, especially if now finally the winter comes. I ask you for experience/recommendation for a new set of WR. Currently are on my Ford Mondeo EZ 01/2011 Contis mounted with the dimension 215 55 R 16 (were delivered on it). I don’t want to be a cheap homeer (Safety first), but it doesn’t have to be the most expensive model now. A reasonable price/performance ratio is in my mind… Yesterday in the advertising A.T.U advertised 15% on WR. As a branded A.T.U customer I once vowed not to use any workshop services there, maximum wheel purchase with assembly… So, I’m happy about your feedback and your recommendation. tell you who has a good & cheap dealer’s tip in the district of Dachau (85221), like it! Always pleasant and accident-free ride!

Force weight may be lost.
Hello, today on the way to school (about 30 km country road) everything was still normal, but on the way home I heard a relatively loud vibrating and pulsating noise at a little less than 60 km/h. I then checked the rims on lost force weights after the drive home, but found no place that looks like there was a weight on it. Maybe I didn’t really look, I’m not sure what that looks like. (I just assumed that the S I checked the wheel nuts with a torque wrench at 120 Nm and they are all fixed. The noise comes regardless of braking, my guess is a weight. The problem is that I have no idea about it. What else could that be? And does this sound even fit to a lost weight or do you notice it quite differently? Thanks in advance.

Noise Windshield/Cockpit (indoor space)
Hello Together, I have the following problem with my Proceeded GT from 2020 (more and more frequently and more frequently occurring lately): Somewhere from the lower part of the windscreen or the area of windscreen / amature board come during the ride very annoying crackling / crackling noise. It is difficult to describe. Also I can not locate the spot 100%, but it must lie directly in the area of the driver side. The noise occurs mainly when driving around curve n, very extreme when driving up and down around curves in parking garages, but also when driving over bumps or when starting or braking, as well as occasionally when starting the engine. Has anyone had this before and knows about advice? Problem is not only that it bugs me quite, but that it is not just so reproducible. Thanks already.
