  • Declaration for damage picture (inside abgefahrt)

    Hello, who can give me an explanation for the damage picture of the tires on the pictures? It is Hankook Ventus S1 evo in 245/40RF18 93W on a 525D (4 or 5 years old). It was the rear tires. Both look like this on the inside. The tires are completely worn inside (up to air loss), the outer layer of the carcass is almost round off (almost as cut off). The profile otherwise has evenly run off (about 3mm residual profile). IMHO would have to be set to a fall of 45°. The vehicle has a tyre pressure control system and the air pressure was OK.   • red “blinking” stripes in the Digital Cockpit + Warnton

    Hello, when I left the parking lot today, the display showed me a residual range of 22km.So far so good. After a few seconds a rather loud warning sound suddenly sounded and the two “separate lines” in the digital display suddenly turned red. By “separate lines” I mean the upper and lower line.So once above the display of the residual range and the lower one over the total kilometer level.The color changed from the standard grey to red and back. That looked like Just that it changes from grey to red. I first thought that it beats Arlarm, because of the remaining distance, but that was never the case before. Especially since the sound was in the process, completely nerve killing. I at least have no idea what this should be. I had only a short distance from the parking lot to my home.After I had unloaded the shopping and started the engine again, I drove for about 15 minutes so that I could not get back to the car. Does anyone have any idea what this behavior should be?

  • Navi has no correct position (Ceed SW PHEV)

    Hello together, since this morning the Navi spins in my Ceed SW PHEV. It looks as if it does not know exactly where it is and in which direction it is going, although in the settings a Sat-Fix is displayed. The symbol for the car is on the road, however, the display moves in the wrong direction: instead of in the selected 3D display in driving direction from top to bottom, sometimes from left to right and sometimes from top to bottom. Also during the ride is completely unmotivated in the map zoomed in and out again. Furthermore, the speed limits are only correct shortly after the optical positioning by the system and after that no longer. In the UVO app the vehicle is not displayed at all.     First of all, hello. I’m relatively inexperienced, sometimes very inexperienced with the technology of cars. I’m learning the most important things, but I’m not really far away, so have a little consideration with me. I bought a car in the summer( my first one). The seller gave me winter tyres back then, these look good. However, I think that he had said that the rims don’t fit or the tires. There was something wrong there. ls. Of course, I’ve been looking for a bit of my own, but I could only find out that the tires are actually fit. They have the dimensions: 195/65 R15 91T only for the rims I’m not so sure if I’ve read the one number wrong or not. Anyway, I didn’t find anything about this if they are compatible. The rims should have these dimensions: 6Jx 15H2 ET 19(that seems to be somehow wrong) I need to know if I have to buy new rims or not.   • Screw in the tire disappeared again

    Hello together, I had discovered a screw in the tire last week and after 300m drive that car put again in the garage. I then announced to a tyre dealer if this would be repairable. I was told I should come by (distance 1km) I brought the car by and it was said directly, there is nothing to do, new tires must drive here (3000km). So still ordered tires, arrived today. Again drove and I look again after the Nag El and can’t find him anymore! I told the tyre dealer if they can look at this and how something like that can happen. They told me boldly that it’s my decision and the tyre is now ordered you don’t have any use for it and I don’t care how I decide I have to take the tire with me. I then noticed that I ordered the tire because of the recommendation, but I see the situation a little different and left. My real question here is whether someone has had experience that the screw has loosened itself, because on the picture it looks like it didn’t really stay in the tyre and it doesn’t really sound like 0.1 bar to me now.   • “Water noise” in the interior

    “Hello, for a few weeks now, I have been listening to light “water sounds” in my Ceed CD while speeding up or suddenly starting downhill somewhere on the left in the driver’s area. Sounds like water is actually moving back and forth. On normal ride it is not perceptible. Only when speeding up, braking or as already written downhill driving. At KIA the air conditioning system has already been checked, but everything was ok. Does anyone have any experience or tips on what this might be?
