  • Serious offer in the bay?!

Servus, today I signed the purchase contract for my A3 BJ2007, next Friday I will pick him up (i.e. I don’t have a vehicle license yet!) – but only with summer tyres :-). At Audi there are currently delivery difficulties, which is why the dealer couldn’t offer me any winter complete bikes. So I have rummaged something in the bay and became aware of this shop. Since I am always a bit careful on eBay (and I have no idea about rims and tyres at all) be…) the question to you: Are the prices literally calling for unsatisfaction or are the customary prices? I don’t want to impose anything bad on the shop, I just want to be careful… second question: Which winter tyres fit on these rims now? So that I don’t always have to ask questions like this: Is there an overview on the Internet that helps me here?!

  • LAGUNA III Retrofit daytime running light in chrome strip

Hello everyone ! Ride a Laguna III GT built in 5/2011, have in the front these chrome trims, where now the facelifted Laguna 2014 the day running lights are integrated. I asked Renault if they can be retrofitted. Was promptly called back the next day. The thing is you can buy these lights (price he didn’t tell me :-)) however you can’t retrofit them, because you have to go over the control unit and that wouldn’t work or so much According to Renault, the decorative strip of the facelifted should fit on my Laguna. So my question is a loan. Why can’t you connect the new lights to the existing line of the current daytime running light? Thanks for your help or suggestions. PS: I’m disappointed there are little things that would make pleasure but Renault makes a big deal of it and complicates everything.

  • Laguna 2 F4P 774

Hello together, my timing belt change is on the line and I have a special question. How important is the engine identification for the timing belt set? When I look for the key number, I get quite a few offers. Some write the identification, others only from year of construction… Are there really so big differences here? Thank you for your support

  • Gear problems

Hello, have a Laguna Grandtour Bj.97, 2,0 with 114hp and approx. 240000km down. Got the problem that I can get the gears hard in, especially now that it has become colder. Must explain briefly since I noticed this: In July 2014 I got the cuff from the differential where the drive comes out leaking and the oil came out with engine on the beam (if you kick into the engine compartment right side) which was already long Porous and it has probably for some time already some transmission I then had to tow it and to the workshop. They renewed the cuff and filled up oil about 2 liters but 75W -90. So mixed. After that everything was ok until now where it has become cooler there I got the gears hard when I am then danger they went in again without problems. I changed the gear oil now on the past Wednesday the original ELF oil which is in the magazine there is no more but the supposedly better successor version from ELF TRANSELF NFP 75W80. So old oil (were also no metal chips in the oil, at least I didn’t see anything it had but slightly foamed in the bowl) out, new oil in the book stands 3.1 liters but only 3 liters fit in then I didn’t drive with it until today, but had run it warm in the stand and switched on in the stand with engine, without big problems. We had the car in front up-bocked so he just like with normal chassis stand because he in the front approx. 6 0mm lower is. Have 1 day later and today before driving In the stand without engine to the switching tried (cold oil) there the gears went in without problems. I then started and then I got the gears hardly any more into it, only with pressure. I then drove and after a few meters went in again but still a little rough and after a few km it worked again normal. It also happens to me (or maybe I imagine) that if I stop motor from then Moto r on, which goes in 1 gear with a beating noise. Had in between the car parked about 1 hour, engine on then started again car was still warm 1 gear, 2, 3 he etc. went in without any problems. What can this still be the so difficult in the cold go in. Thanks in advance. Greetings.

  • Saw tooth formation

Hello, with my Polo 6 r was found this week with 2 tires sawtooth formation all 4 tires were balanced and the front to the rear and the rear to the front. the former 2 rear have sawtooth, so end of the song back again. Now was told to leave me first further on on it until it gets worse ( for a few months, then it would be worse and it could still be driven ) the tires have 27000 km on it and each 6 mm profile. e drive? Or equal 2 new ? The other 2 good have 7 mm profile I’m not talking about the few Euros (expensive etc. ) whether now or in half year and about maybe 5000 or 8000 km more at the end , are GJR , so I’ll need 2 greetings anyway

  • Tyre change due to height impact

Had bought me a used but quite fresh pair Pirelli P7, was from the HA of an Audi who has a motor fire in the garage, slaughter vehicle. Anyway, optically on the tires was nothing, also the car was not so strongly affected at the back. Anyway, I installed the at the VA for my rear driven C-Class. On the first ride unfortunately showed vibration in the steering wheel from so 110kmh, which also used during the 2 attempts only from 120 and was already clearly more discreet. I’m not satisfied, so I ordered Michelin PS4 and had it balanced on the same machine, running perfectly. Now I had the idea to let the P7 move on to the HA, the size would be allowed even if the rim is already 8.5″ wide, VA rim is only 7.5″. But now the point, would I have vibrations on HA now or swallow the drive forces this ́way? You also have to know that the P7 ne have really soft flanks, much softer than Conti or the M Idelin.

  • Preventive tyre seal

https://www.ultra-seal.eu/The fact that the rubber recovers within the tire is immensely important in the use of ultra-seal. Because when a tire is pierced, the rubber is opened by the penetrating object. Such an injury is in many cases much smaller than the object that punctures the tire. Rubber has a kind of memory ability and, after being exposed to adverse circumstances or stress factors, can return to its original When the damage object is removed, the rubber recovers and the hole closes again. As the hole closes, Ultra-Seal is held in place by the strength and integrity of the tire, forming a very safe and durable repair that lasts for the rest of the tire life. An invading object that remains in the tire for a longer period of time, ultimately ensures that the rubber temporarily loses recovery capacity. When the object is removed, driving immediately activates the walking work of the tire, which also restores the “remembrance capacity” of the tire. The bending or knocking of the respective area also contributes to the recovery of the tire.

  • Please explain, what is this code?

Hello guys, My comrade has bought very nice wheels but now comes back that do not fit under his car (Mercedes). If they fit under my BMW he would give them to me for little money. Find them really nice. Can someone please explain to me what this “code” is and maybe tell me more about it. And under which car can you mount them? Maybe there is a list somewhere.
