Hello, at 0:30 a.m. tonight on the highway, at a moderate speed of 130 km/h, a night racer had overtaken me. I estimated his speed at at least 280 km/h or even faster. At least it was the fastest driver who overtook me in the last 25 years. So far so good. 10 minutes later I saw a cruel wild opera (large deer or wild boar) lying on the road, which was dragged about 200m. On both lanes were everywhere blood, Knoch The game was probably hit several times by cars and then partially distributed. However, the carcass was still thrown to the side strip. I remembered at the moment of the fast night rider who had overtaken me at extremely high speed before. Probably he was not the one who had hit the animal first. But I realized how dangerous such fast night rides could be on the highway – just because of game change The Crux is that many people like to drive their cars on the motorways at night, because the traffic density is very low. But … you can’t drive at a distance on the AB and with dipped-beam the headlights are simply too low for unlit obstacles. Especially if you are beyond 200 km/h. When a boar or deer jumps into traffic, there are usually very cruel accidents. Only recently there were also deaths. I was given a wild accident on the AB. What do you think? Are fast night trips on the AB irresponsible and particularly dangerous? I mean yes. Greetings, Amin

VW Taigo, software update – how?
Good evening in the round For four weeks now, I am -likely proud- owner of a taigo r-line. Now every now and then the outside mirror is right when opening, sometimes the display remains dark, despite the fact that the interior is clearly sounded. Now I thought, maybe a software update helps, but I am not quite sure how this works… OTA or via USB? After all, the map material of June 2023 (“small” Navi). Is the entire system acousticized? Or does it only work with the dealer and you can only update the maps? My current system information, if it helps: Hardware: H22 Software: 0306 Navigation database: 23.6 Radio database: 1.30.24 Thank you in advance, everyone a good start in the week

Reliability Taigo?
Hello together, as „Golf 8 bad guys would interest me your experience with the Taigo with regard to reliability. Our 3rd Leasing Golf 8 is again a “Monday car” and after 8000km of mileage and 11 months the box has to go back to the workshop. All security systems incl. ABS, ESP, rear view camera, side assist etc. have failed. Workshop dates and spare parts are only limited available. eme like reboots of the infotainment system (“Harman Kardoon Bug”), and other inadequacies (e.g. everything failed, WeConnect indicates green for all systems). With the T-Cross about 1.5 years ago we were super satisfied. Absolutely no problems, great car! Now the Taigo is ordered and I wonder if VW has in the meantime also the polo platform “hunted”. In the meantime there is also the Travel-Assist (was not then for our T-Cross) etc. for the Polo-Plat tform. So the complexity of the platform has increased. Question: Can I count on the proven reliability of a 2021 T-cross with the Taigo, or can I set myself to at least 2-3 smaller problems per week and 1x in half a year for a total failure like golf 8. I could still cancel the Taigo for a short time… I just want a reliable car after all the stress, as it was until a few years ago the normal case.
