This car had a chassis, which I could change electronically during the ride in height. Now one of our cars is about to give way. So I’m looking for car manufacturers that offer a suspension solution (combi), similar to Citroen of the C5. M The reason is quite simple, we have dogs – which weigh around 40kg. One of them is sick and has to be lifted. I am not allowed to lift anything more myself, because of my back and my girlfriend should not do it forever insofar as a car like the C5 is practical. There we were able to let the rear vehicle down almost to the level of steps, so that the elbows of the dogs are loaded to a normal level word On the other hand we are also on the road and there it was practice to put the car higher. Hello first of all, I am happy driver of a ford escort 1997 combi 1.4liter injection. now I have a problem for some time now. if I turn it off, I have to wait a good 20 minutes until I can turn it on again. before he just does not start. battery new – temp sensor new reads. workshop, which has renewed the temp sensor as a problem (he probably wasn’t) I should scrap my car, because it would be too expensive to find the problem. I like my old Audi because…
…it just runs and runs! While browsing the other forums I noticed that many problems with their new cars have. Long workshop stays and annoying problem searches are probably the order of the day. Since I am sometimes really happy to drive an “old bowl”, a scratch more or less itches me not very much. My climate can not break, because I have none. Electrics doesn’t spin, because no one exists. The built-in Navi can not be stolen and without driving away Also no computer chip can prevent my brakes from braking. Sometimes it’s easier to drive an old and cheap car, but as always: everything has its advantages and disadvantages. In my next car I want climate, e-windows and navigator and hope for a trouble-free driving like with the B4! What do you like about your “old”?

Winter tyres / full-year tyres
This morning I had craftsmen who arrived with a DB Sprinter incl. all-weather tires. Our farm entrance climbs on a distance of about 2 m maybe 10 cm. The Sprinter had to brake shortly before the entrance. When starting on snow incl. some ice layer the car did not make this “lift” despite the push of two people despite many attempts. My car is equipped with winter tires. The difference between these two types of tyres is extreme. What has caused our politicians to allow the all-weather tyres to be used as winter tires, remains absolutely treacherous to me after this experience.

Strange noises in right curves
Hello together, recently my car (daihatsu Charade, BJ 1992) gives some funny sounds of itself, but only in right turns on the left front tire. For the first time I noticed, after the car was moved for the first time after almost 3 weeks (in the underground garage), in the first right turn there was a knocking and at the same time grinding noise to hear, the faster I drive, the faster the knocking (as if with a bike constantly grinds the brake, because there (sry, it is hard to describe^^)). After a few minutes the noise was gone, when driving the next day it was suddenly permanently there, not only in curves. I then first checked the tyre pressure and put it in order (were 0.1bar too little), after that the noise was gone for a few minutes, but at some point it started again, this time only in right curves. The matures are only a few months old, at and behind the mature is as far as I can judge nothing loose. In the meantime the noise is there, sometimes not there, sometimes louder, sometimes quieter, usually it still occurs in right curves. I would think of the brake at most, but wouldn’t know why the suddenly should start to grind, moreover, it would have to affect the performance, but it is fully there. Can it be on the tire?
