Hi, so far I always had summer tires on the factory rims and winter tires always on steel rims. That’s why I have no idea about Alu rims. With me now after vehicle purchase (Audi A6 4F 2.7 TDI Avant, tires 225 x 16″ the purchase of winter bikes (tires + rims). I plan per steel rim with 25€ plus wheel cap for 10€. Now I wanted to see if it is possible in a similar price region to get also aluminum rims. Do aluminium rims differ in quality? Or is the price determined by the look? I don’t really care about the look, but aluminum rims would be nice Thanks, Bernd

Rim registration obligation
Hello I bought a new car, the Chevrolet Spark with 82 hp. Now I wanted to buy winter tyres with aluminium wheels. Unfortunately I find nowhere exactly the rim size that I would need. According to the vehicle license I can drive this tyre size: 165/60R15 77T. These should be driven on rim : rim 5,0Jx15 ET 45mm. If I pull these now on larger rims, for which an ABE is available, I still need the permission from the TÜV for the rims? 6J15 4×100 ET43 I’ll be the tire size according to the vehicle license, but the rims are not inside :/ I’ve been looking everywhere on the Internet, but somehow there are so many different statements about it! Would be nice, if you can help me further, am still in the probation period and would like to do nothing wrong about it.

Silencer in pressure tube removed
Hi ! I hit and removed the silencer in the pressure tube today. I had read this here a long time ago in the forum. I have to say, I am thrilled ! The engine hangs better on the gas and turns up a little faster ! The “smoke” of the turbo is also more to be heard ! Makes really fun . And it is not difficult either .

Charge new battery before installation?
I have a question about the battery and first charge before installation. Today my new starter battery has come, I measured this precautionally and determined a voltage of 12.6 volts. Since I have read somewhere that the voltage of a completely full battery is about 12.75 I have connected a charger and now it has been charging for almost 7 hours and does not stop. The charger is a new ctek XMS 5.0 and should actually shorten the battery Have the most time fully charged what it doesn’t do Now my question is whether the new battery is already broken or is the behavior normal? Ford Transit 2.2TDCI 2012
Hello community! Drive now for 2 years a camper scooter team with a 2.2 lt. TDCI Fordmotor on transit chassis. Wanted to ask if there are also satisfied people with a Ford chassis and front thruster.. I sniffed a bit in the forums now, because I actually wanted to install an air suspension and was surprised how many people have suffered a motor damage. Also the front thruster was probably not so the hit. Well I had to I wanted an affordable and suitable vehicle for my purposes. Now after 2 years and 19,000km I’m really happy with the Ford. It’s a front-wheeler with 140 hp and it consumes between 9 and 10 ltr. I got a new software for the engine control about 3 months ago on recall from Ford because probably so many engine damage occurred on this engine. It runs in my opinion somewhat ruhi But if one can rule out a motor damage with a new software I dare doubt if it is due to defective injectors according to the forum? I would like to mention that traction on wet road is a bit problematic but the driving behavior as such is completely problemless. Now I am not as a camper yet so long and the Ford is my first camper at all but are other campers beyond the 50,000€ limit really better??? Is the Ford wi rklich so bad?? I have to say it is economical, maintenance-free so far no problems and the construction (partly integrated ) for me absolutely great. I hope there are people who also have a Ford with the 2.2 lt. machine can report positive, that would be very helpful. It would also be important if the air suspension at all brings something in the 3.5 tons class. I would be very pleased about news.

Install USB socket for cigarette lighters
Hello dear community, in order to get some variety in the tristesse. I would like to exchange my cigarette lighter in the car for a 2xUSB socket. At youtube I actually did not get all the questions answered. First: I am lay, however, as far as car technology is concerned, I do not have so much 2 left hands, that I would not be able to do this myself with a reasonable instruction. State of the art: https://www.bilder-upload.eu/thumb/f9b737-1584782883.jpg A black, a red , a yellow cable. The red one looks black-red from the other side:https://www.bilder-upload.eu/thumb/5ae15d-1584782939.jpg This should be pure:https://www.bilder-upload.eu/thumb/c16c1a-1584782967.jpghttps://www.bilder-upload.eu/thumb/dee1f8-1584783035.jpg I found this right in the basement:https://www.bilder-upload.eu/thumb/abfbcc-1584783067.jpg 1. Can I just snap off the 3 cables? 2. Do I have to take out a fuse for this? (the cigarette lighter funktitif67.jpg). I guess the third cable (yellow?) is the earth. What do I do with it? 5. I’ve never worked with these “clamps” (?) before. I guess I just plug the cables through the red things and then snap that with a plier to keep it going? Thank you!

Failure of Kia Connected Service?
Hello! My Kia Carens (EZ 03/2017) surprised me a little bit: When starting an approximately one-hour journey, the infotainment connected to my smartphone via Wi-Fi and not only indicated the WLAN connection that had been created, but also that it had downloaded online data (stau, radar, weather). Everything as normal and just like in the last few days… At some point during the journey, however, I suddenly realized that the WLAN-Emp The radar warning sign on the Navi map was gone again, traffic jam data was only shown with the “normal” TMC symbol again and no traffic and weather data was displayed via the info button. When clicking on it instead a message appeared in the display, according to which there was allegedly a “network error”. I first tried a restart – and both from the Smartph one as well as the infotainment – but it didn’t help anything. In addition to the display for the full WLAN reception, only the aforementioned “network error” was displayed as soon as I wanted to use an online service. I then set up my mobile WLAN LTE router as a receiver – but also after its setup the aforementioned scenario again. Same then even when I booked the infotainment in my own WLAN at home on the doorstep. Everywhere best WLAN reception – but otherwise only “network errors”. Both the smartphone, as well as the mobile WLAN LTE router and even more so my home WLAN had really best internet reception… As a result, I exclude a mistake on my smartphone (or one of the other two WLAN networks). Can it be that maybe the Kia Connect server has failed instead? Did other such “network errors”? I would be happy about feedback…

Motor check lamp – Kia Carnival II 2.9 CRDI 10/2003
Servus Together, In my carni the engine check-light has been shining for 3-4 months. At first it was only when I stepped through and gave the right fabric. 2 months ago the lamp switched on already during normal driving and extinguished during short gas removal. When reading out came the error “fuel supply”…..But here are about 7 possibilities of troubleshooting.(fuel pump, diesel filter, injectors, etc….) I first changed the fuel filter. Now it is wi The lamp lights up when it accelerates, but now it flashes in a 1-2second clock. I never had a power loss or a jerking. Does rail pressure sensor have to be adjusted after installation?
Moin Together, after read out error message, the rail pressure sensor should now be replaced. (motor control lights permanently, power loss = emergency program) Question is now whether this – only the sensor, not the complete rail – has to be learned in any way in the Kia workshop, or whether the simple exchange is enough in a free workshop and it then drives again. If learning is necessary, this is only possible at Kia, or there is also an x-time-defense-in-waiting etc. . “manual” solution? Otherwise, we bought the vehicle 2013 at 62,000km. At 70,000km noise when load changes in the lower speed range, where first the oil pump was tapped. Also since already the power and engine control stress problem At 72,500km reviewer: oil pump i.e., but worn balancing shaft gears. Repair of the unit. At 88,000km in July 2015 during city travel turbocharger damage. Repair with AT turbocharger. At 116,000km both wheel bearings at the front i Noise when load changes in the lower speed range are also there again. Again balancing shaft after 40,000km?! At 118,000km in July 2017 again turbocharger damage, this time at Vollast, repaired with AT turbocharger, oil change, both V-belts also had to be changed
