  • Winter tyre choice

Moinsen! Yes yes… We soon have winter and again the question “What tires for my car?” arises. Normally I just drove my tyres, which were on the car… Now no more. Last year summer tyres were on it in winter – result was: no problem. However, I did not have to drive with snow and ice and I expect more ice and snow for 2009/2010… Okay, the tyre size doesn’t matter for now BUT the rims are fixed: 15″er – either 195er/65 R15 H or 205er/6 0 R15 H should be up (speed is important, since I don’t want an ugly sticker in the interior, has now taken 12 months to remove the adhesive residue from the sticker of the dealer!!!). Now the question: which tires are recommended? Chinese tires I don’t want. Not from “hate” to the Chinese but simply for reasons of “logic” (almost all tires cut off very badly…). I don’t really pay attention to the price. I say up to about 75€/tires I will be about So, can someone recommend winter tires? Which brand? Which model? Thanks for the input in advance greetings DDD

  • Help with tyre changes (heavy work!)

Do you know this, if you want to change the tires yourself and which sometimes just can’t be solved? I hate that. So the screws are already loosed, but the wheel stays on it on its own and can hardly be moved! I have always handled it so that I have used such spray and kicked it from the outside against the tire until it fell off. But that can’t be it, can it? Now to the actual question: Does someone have the same problem and tip as you make the more elegant ka Don’t think that’s so great for my car.

  • Contribution differences of opinion

hello together drive a golf 4 132kw 1.8t to the chassis all original. on it are original bbs 18 inches jubi also have a 30-30 chassis from h&r in it that is already registered. my examiner says to me that I don’t have to have the rims entered yet it would work that way. however I don’t trust the thing completely and my question is I have to register or not? since the golf already has stabi-like problems.

  • Highway A81 / Witness searched

Hello, I am looking for a witness for the process mentioned below or someone who has already had bad experiences with a 190er evolution with Böblinger license plates. He pushed me (Octavia-Kombi, BB…) on 28.6. (approx. 19:30) on the A81 direction Stuttgart (height exit Herrenberg) and then slowed down so that I skipped on the stand strip. Now the police was with me because an ad is running against me. Is dressed a while ago – but Maybe someone can remember it. Or someone already has an encounter with the Mercedes behind him. I am grateful for any help!!!

  • Beginner’s equipment for a CiviC sought

moin, a friend of mine drives an ej1 (civic coupe) and wants to polish up his, with permission, grotesque sound a little bit. There is a sony-HU (asks me which one exactly, I have to ask.estimate ma 100-140€ class). EDIT: sony cdx – gt 200s got him convinced to dam in front. So that’s taken care of. at the moment there are 16s mbQuart installed in front, but they sound very bad about “kaputt” or something. I have to take a picture… for the front we have now got a helix blue 62 mk2 for little money, and that is also the main point, WENIG money, but no scrap! reasonable beginner class is completely sufficient. a sub should be dispensed with first, for that also music should be present at the back (is a must). so only the standard recordings remain in the tray, should be thinning 16s, possibly also a bit bigger. bass should therefore, as far as possible, also o so, the whole fun is to heat a 4-channel, preferably used.price up to 100€. and now you are there… mfg

  • Frame warped on the towing rope?

I don’t know if I’m in the right forum, but just try it. And that’s what happened to me, engine damage on the highway, rolled out and had it picked up by the ADAC. Just charged up and started, a drunk Dutchman drives on the back of the highway with an estimated 160 things. The tow had just arrived at 80. Now it’s so that I had noticed in the place of the tow company through the lighting (the whole was at night) that the front left fender no longer closes with the door plan. it seems that the frame at the A-pillar is slightly warped, even if only a few mm. The vehicle was at the front right at the bolted towing eye and at the rear with a tape clamped through the tire. When the Dutchman crashed in, there was a strong jerk forward, so I imagine the train at the eye. Is the towing wind at too high a load or reimburse them, and d the complete traction force through the jerk-like acceleration is transferred to the eyelet? Can the frame therefore be forgiven? My assumption is that the towing device is attached to the longitudinal or transverse beam at the front and the eye itself is designed for high bending load, i.e. just on train transmits a lot of the forces to the carrier. Does anyone know what is more accurate? Achso, the vehicle is a skoda Fabia Combi according to VW’s modular principle.

  • Renew First Aid Kit

Hello people! Had to find out today after the police had stopped me that my first-aid kit in the car expired. What would that cost me if I had the contents renewed in a pharmacy? And do there also a sticker or label on it that the contents can be used again? Would fetch me a new 5 Euro first-aid kit at the DIY store, but I drive a BMM and it has such a stubbornly shaped back in the trunk. And to the place where the there is pass t even such a special BMW bandage bag.

  • INFOS TO LAST RETURNS! IMPORTANT!!

For example, when ebay offers more and more of it, I have to say what many people don’t know: every lassed rear light is invalid in any case. Why? Because luminaires require type approvals and as soon as something is changed on a type approval lamp (e.g. lassed, magnification of the hole cut-out for other pears, gluing, etc.) the EC/ECE approval/type approval is extinguished. Furthermore, there is no possibility (e.g. by an expert report, change). In addition to a new type approval for which, among other things, a light-technical report from the Lichttechnische Institut in Karlsruhe or Berlin is required (the costs for this alone, according to DEKRA, are in the 4-digit range). This means that even if a “expert opinion” on the luminaires is supplied, this does not change the inadmissibility. Above all, because it is almost always the well-known “Muschwitz-Gu” In this case, according to TÜV-Süddeutschland, this is invalid for several reasons, so that there is talk of the replacement of the serial light and not of the change of it – apart from the fact that this is only a preliminary report. I have also seen DEKRA change acceptances which refer to this report and which confirm the road safety of the vehicle. In such a case, the examiner made a mistake, w For many, registration/change acceptance is also legally invalid. For many, registration/change acceptance is sufficient to calm the conscience, but in the case of a case, the insurance companies are hard-hitting -> found eating when it comes to paying. So you can only use the notes to blind police officers during a check. So: If you have a lasered lamp, you have an invalid lamp! Even if it is registered, you also have retro-reflectors a n’s car snaps and the illumination is good in itself. If you’re wondering why I’ve dealt with it so closely -> I let myself turn on such lights, supposedly with ABE, instead these windy notes were there.

  • Remodeling of trunks

Hello, it’s been a long time since I converted my trunk as it is now (picture below in the appendix or in the Sig.). Unfortunately, I never got to complete it completely. Well, we come to the point and I have been playing with the idea to change the trunk for a long time and I would like to at least partly use it. It shouldn’t cost much in itself and I don’t want to do without any component. What would have to be accommodated: 2 Rockford power amplifiers 2 Subwoofers in a large box 1 Cap 1 extra battery I already have an idea I don’t know if it’s all so easy to realize. I thought the power amplifiers should be mounted one left and right behind the rear side claddings. How would I be able to fix them there without drilling holes? Possibly stick a piece of sheet metal to it with carrosserie glue and screw a piece of wood to attach the power amplifier to the wood? On one side I thought de The big subwoofer case as seen at the bottom of the picture has space for 3 woofers of which 1 woofer is no longer in it and the right one is. The case goes over the whole trunk width and I thought in the 3rd hole the battery somehow so that it also has a good hold. The two boot side panels are also no longer in it. I also want to get the wooden plates out of the trunk ha What do you think of the idea? Do you perhaps have better alternatives than I could do?
