  • Problems with the editor….

Hi, since the latest there are constant problems with the editor (Firefox 15): I write a text, print it, then an error message and the hint ‘There is an automatically saved version’, which is of course stone-old or comes from a completely different thread (!). Also a 404 error, like when creating this text. If I don’t copy the text to the clipboard before is most of it away. Very unsatisfactory, and also only a few weeks ago on Start. does this have to do with the conversion of the forum?

  • Link deposit at Topics in Threads

Moin together ! I just noticed that the thread titles within the topics (…above the head of the opened threads! ) are no longer stored with the corresponding link! Is this a bug or even wanted? To explain the “problems” I see: I use the fire fox and, among other things, the add-on ->Copy Link Text (CoLT), which is then added to the context menu (…an example image can be found in the appendix! )….and the ses then allows me to copy a complete link including address and the stored text of the link – e.g. then also by BBCode as in the example picture, in order to insert these links here on board also quite simply “copy&paste” into the respective texts! I find this function extremely helpful, if you would like to show for example a small list of possibly topic-like threads, in order to help a user with help and tips to send other threads…..how the days still happen here ->! (…but of course you can use it in other ways! ) Now I have found out this morning that the topics are no longer equipped – as just the day before yesterday still – and wanted to ask if this is simply due to the action of a small disease, or if someone could have thought something about it, and if he then might have given us some I would personally miss the function, and somehow I can’t imagine where the “sparing” or perhaps another benefit could be, if you finally take it out! Of course I know how to create links here, and I know these “pemalinks” at the bottom of each MT page, but the add-on CoLT I used can do it even faster than that. And more comfortable! (…and I can’t believe I’m the only one here to do that!) Greetings and a nice day, Dynator

  • Expensive inspection – Where is the logic at the intervals?

Hello, I was at the first inspection today with speedometer stand 15,000, I paid 360 euros. The reason was in my opinion high amount, with the inspection intervals for my model. These foresee an inspection at 30,000 km or once a year. It can not be that the KIA then exchanges parts in the 3rd year, at only 45,000 km, although these are not worn out yet and with more intensive use otherwise only at 90,000. For this I have to be as customer every time The fact that the annual inspection is not necessary from a technical point of view, proves the fact that Kia only requires an inspection for new models for 2 years. How high is the cost of a 60,000 inspection? In addition, I am looking for a cheaper workshop in the vicinity of Frankfurt/mainal’s main car dealership in Raunheim. Thank you!

  • Engine damage Ceed

Hello all, can a defective Simmering lead to a complete oil loss within a short time during a motorway ride and then directly to the engine damage? It all happened within 10-15 seconds. Tempo I drove reduced to 80 and then on the stand strip and then was already at work. Whether the oil lamp turned on and when, I can’t say at all. I was more distracted by highway and engine noises. I should mention that in the car a week before the e control chain and something on the piston was changed to guarantee (because “auto went out in idle mode”. After that the inspection was carried out. I have no idea.. but there should be cases… even if I could logically imagine that there is a causal connection here Can KIA turn out something that one would be to blame because there is an oil warning lamp and therefore refuse guarantee? Greetings

  • Ceed SW 1.6 GDI Dream Team – need more input

Hello forum, for a few months I am looking for a new car for me (drive for 5 years Golf V 1.4/75hp). It is definitely to become a gasoline and a combi. Besides, it is important to me a good equipment (seat heating, climatronic, leather electric wheel with buttons, hands-free device, middle armrest, etc.). And economical the car should be of course also… In the narrow selection have now entered two vehicles: 1) Skoda Octavia 1.2TSI – Best Of 2) Ceed SW 1.6 GDI Dream-Team And now the questions about the Ceed. 1) The Octavia 1.2TSI consumes 5.7l/100km according to paper, but realistic are 6.3-6.7l/100km with a “normal” way of driving. What about the Ceed SW 1.6 GDI. On the paper there are 6.5l/100km. On the fuel monitor there are only a few informations about the Ceed 1.6 GDI and what it says doesn’t seem to me to be really normal… about 8l/100km… I don’t really want to believe that. What do you say about this topic? i 1.6 GDI? (I was quite optimistic about this: the consumption sample on the example) 2) Inspections at the Ceed SW are necessary every 2 years or 30,000km. How is the price frame of these inspections. Do I have to reckon with more expensive inspection prices than with the Skoda Octavia? 3) Timing belt changes? Is there a timing belt at the GDI? When should it be changed? Does this possibly guarantee if within the first 7 years? I am happy about your answers and hope to make my decision better. Thank you in advance! Evgeni T.

  • Kia Ceed SW 1.4 109PS??

Hello dear Motor-Talkler, I need your help. And I would like to buy a Kia Ceed SW, namely the 2010 Facelift model. Normally there is the petroler once as 1.4 with 90hp and as 1.6 with 125hp. Now 90 are almost too little and 125er are in the area at present in short supply. Now stands with a dealer with 1.4, 109hp, which I would really like from price and equipment. But it can be that this motorization at Facelift Is this possibly a residual stock that has still been installed in a few facelift models or where does it come from? Does anyone have experience with this motorization? So I don’t need an athlete, but he should come from the spot without the engine having to struggle all the time. Sure, during the test drive I will probably notice if it fits or not, but it is the dealer’s fault. cht the next way and that’s why I wanted to ask for your opinion in advance. Greetings to everyone! Florian

  • Disconnect channels to crossover

Hi, I have currently actively separated TMT and HT at the power stages. Theoretically, the Xetec steps can separate nn HT, but practically the pots in the range are far too sensitive. stands the controller at 4,5kHz and I don’t even turn correctly, but touch it almost only with the screwdriver I am directly at 1000Hz. I just can’t get cleverly set Now I thought, if I separate on the passive switches TMT and HT, I can filter them with it and L At least that would be a simple transition solution. I already play with the thought to buy a fully active capable radio Just before I now wanted to make a fuss about the beautiful switches I wanted to ask if this works as I think it. I once signed off the circuit and flushed it up. At the red strokes I wanted to interrupt the verbination, so the HT would be separated. The -3 and -6db connections I wanted then as an input Take for the HT (blue lines) And what is that about the red arrows for a component? that’s the only thing I can’t quite assign.http://www.stefan-lies.de/schaltplan.jpg

  • Stupid question, but can a dryer damage LS?

it is a somewhat stupid question, but my action through which this comes about is still a lot more crazy. actually, my interior is not only wet, but NASS, and I would like to get a professional dryer from the construction industry. since I have nothing more to worry about than my radio and my LS, I want to make sure here again: is there any danger for radio, soft, LS, blablabla when the dryer sucks everything completely dry inside? at what temperature? naturen such a thing works, I don’t know, but I read something of 30 degrees. laughs at me, instructs me…I know, the question is crazy, but I don’t want to ruin myself any more…
