  • Which 235 winter tires?

Hello! I have to think slowly about which winter tires I get (235/40/18 come to the summer rim). After the tyre tests I found so there are Dunlop Wintersport 3D and Continental 830 P (810 S) quite far ahead. Dunlop I drove last winter on a different car in 205/65/15 and was very satisfied with it. Continental is also very recommendable, I have always driven in summer and was very satisfied. I wanted a I have read in an ADAC test that the Dunlop should have more wear than the Conti (810), Michelin should also be very durable. Here I have read somewhere that the Conti should wear more than Michelin and thus almost the same as Dunlop somehow contradictory…. What experiences have you had? At Conti I would tend to tend to the 810 S, although the older one is (I think….) or what is recommended?

  • How much air pressure?!!

Hello guys, a few weeks ago I bought a Touareg with the tire size 285/35- 22 inches and have a question. Is there a professional among you or a motor-talk user among us who also drives the same car with the tire dimension? Can you please write me what air pressure I can drive or should?!The friendly one near me had 4.2Bar in the rear and front of the tires and that is defensively too much of my opinion!! In my opinion, the 3bar in the front are too few. Or can you recommend me links where you can ask for the airfruck. That was the case with the kumho tyres of my convertible that I had. Well, I am very much at the right air pressure from which I also control more often, but unfortunately I don’t know the right one and hope for your help. Have a nice weekend for all of you.

  • DRIVERS under the influence of alcohol and drugs are threatening to lose their driving licence…

Quotation: Court confirms withdrawal of driving licences for passengers Passengers under the influence of alcohol and drugs must expect to lose their driving licences in a police control. However, the prerequisite for this is that both the consumption of alcohol and cannabis can be proven to the controller. As the Administrative Court of Stuttgart reported, the Verwaltungsgerichtshof (VGH) dismissed a man’s complaint against a corresponding judgment of the Verwaltungsgericht vom vergan The 23-year-old had filed a complaint against the immediate withdrawal of his driving licence ordered by the Landratsamt Böblingen in September 2005. The man had been checked by the police as a passenger in February. A blood examination revealed 1.39 promille and the reference to regular cannabis consumption. The administrative court ruled that the Landratsamt had decided to give the 23-year-old a driving licence. The court further argued that the withdrawal of the driving licence was permissible even without a medical-psychological opinion. The court did not allow the objection of the 23-year-old that he had been a passenger in the incident and that he had therefore been able to separate between consumption and driving. In view of the general danger to the general public by the participation of the man, the court did not allow the court to apply. There is a public interest in driving the driver’s license.

  • Winter tires: Where the better ones?

Meal, the question arises again and again as in the subject…the answers to it usually: a) The workshops and popular opinion: The better forward b) The opinion of the traffic clubs, ADAC etc., the better backward, because they hold the rear axle in the track, or a push over the front axle is easier controllable than a breaking tail. Purely from the driving behavior, variant b is obvious for me, however, how can it be seen when braking, or closing. Is the question in which area you should put the weighting?. Are there any known experiences/examinations? Personal opinions are of course also welcome. Greetings

  • Are these winter tires?

Hello, I have a stupid question. My dad got a omega a. With (according to the seller) summer tires. However, it is on the tire M&S. (where I mean to have heard that the nothing has to be ironed) But there is no symbol with this snowflake in the triangle or circle (know grad net which of the two symbols is normal) The tires are also direction bound, which is typical for winer tires, but does not necessarily indicate that it is WR with another picture of the profile, so I think that there is no WR there. But I am grateful for every advice. MFG Marcus

  • Is this installation offer too expensive?

Hi guys, I’m one of the few people who have two left hands and can’t really get excited about making them. that’s why I got information from two regional hifi shops about a complete installation. I find the offers relatively expensive by both of them and therefore want to hear your opinion about whether they want to pull me over because I’m a layman or if the offers are good dealers 1: Subwoofer Atomic Manhatten DVC 12 249€ Endstage SPL TC-704 269€ Radio Pioneer DEH 4700 MP 150€ Condenser 85€ Cable+connector 60€ Installation+insulation 200€ Anti-nois (insulation material) 35€ (front speaker I’ll get 100&#8364 ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________ in total 1048€, but only 1000€ for this (i.e. 110€ since I’m getting the front myself) Criticism of me: – expensive insulation of the front doors and installation – many components already seen cheaper with price search machines on the internet – no rear system Dealer 2: Radio Zenec ZE60MP3 169€ Amp Axton C609 (5channel) 199€ Front A xton CAC 2.6 99€ Rear Axton CAX 139 49€ Sub Emphaser El 10S4 139€ Insulation+Installation+Sub in replacement trough with Plexiglas and neon+cable+Adapter 600€ _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ erbass Chrome PB CK6 100€ ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ I’m supposed to do it. • Devil vs Alpine ! What does the pro say ???

Hi! A little question to the connoisseurs among you….I have installed an Alpine DDC R17H 2 way system for my Polo 6N (currently still on the radio) when I turn up about 1/2 – 3/4 sounds pretty shit, noise, screaming naja net so great! Will it hang together with my 20 Rockford Woofer to my soundstream P203 … but I’m drifting away! Wouldn’t I think a good offer for devils lurking would be the old devil AM160 system from the devil’s forge in Berlin! D he give after all 12 years warranty on their speakers so can it be no crap or ? Now the question : Should I dare and buy the devils me ? Are the possibly even better like the Alpine ? Maybe you know yes one of you ?? PS : Cost they would give me complete with switches and 25 devils Sub 45€ the Sub I would not be able to use since only a 20s fits in my expansion …. Thanks for your help….

  • Connect speaker cables?

Evening! I once asked myself which method is best to connect 2 sound recorder cables with each other. Situation with my frontsys is that I left the original cable in the area of the door plug, i.e. from the interior to the door, because I have seen no other way to get my 4qmm speaker cables into the doors besides drills. That’s why I used the two cables together and then went right into the door again to the 4qmm. Now I want to know , which method would be best (audiophilic) to connect speaker cables? Luscious clamps? Soldering? And if soldering is the best method, which is the second best? Since I am not exactly a fine motorist and there are still a lot of cables and there is hardly any space, I did not want to solder, because I otherwise damage the other cables or anything else with the hot piston. Thank you for your answers!!!!

  • Second battery?

I’m just dealing with the idea of installing a second battery in the spare wheel pit again. there’s the following question: 1. does the battery need cooling or doesn’t matter? I would probably build a board over there, then there would hardly be any air. 2. do I need a separation relay? what exactly is that? is this to recommend or doesn’t matter? where do I build it? 3. I have a 35 and a 20 cable in the car, the 20s would probably be long enough to reach the 2. battery to come, the 35s very probably not. is the 20s enough to connect the two batteries? 4. How to attach the battery best in the spare wheel pit? I would then probably take an exide maxxima DC, is there a better one for the money? does it need any special care? expand and charge or something?
