  • Citroen C5 2.0 Diesel Total failure Nothing works anymore !!!

    Hello like above I have a Citroen C5 2,0 Diesel Limousine Year of manufacture 10/2010 automatic transmission ! Now I have the following error : After a long drive the Fzg was switched off and one hour tried to start again –> did not go anymore ! No indoor lighting, no instrument lighting, no ignition, no radio,…no nothing at all! Fzg does not start anymore ! What has been checked ! -Battery -all fuses -mass -BSI – fuses -safe box -key (all) -Z All checked things are fine ! Everything has been measured and checked for passage ! Strange is only that everywhere on every component is juice on it as usual but nothing works ! E.g. input ignition lock current there, you turn the key from level 2 (defense) output also there , but no mucker, everything black and dead ! WHAT CAN BE ??? Can someone help me or give me tips what it can be ! Don’t know anymore ! Thanks

    Hello, I would need a new sub. I am mainly interested in SPL, but should also make good pressure (sound is not sooo important, although a change port comes in, but is mainly adapted to SPL). Requirements: – well suited for BP 4th order! – strongly loadable (should also take part in the burp two linked Ext 3000) – housing size max. 180l net – either 1×15″ or 2×12″ – connection impendance may lie at most at 1Ohm (better would be 0.5Ohm) Actually I would like to n but they are hardly suitable for 4th order (meet only BR and 6th order). That’s why it has to be a “normal” woofer. At the moment I think for example: 1x 13W7 D1.5 2x SPL Pro 12 D2 1x RE XXX 15 D2 (if I find one) Is there anything else?   • Final stage under the trunk extension?

    Moin! I’m building a cofer room expansion with final stage and subwoofer in my Polo 6N. Now, as is well known, the polo is not the largest car, but rather one of the small and therefore the trunk ebanfalls not particularly voluminous. Therefore, the final stage and Woofer would also take the complete floor and I would not have a place anymore, because neatly something to take with me. Well, when traveling it would be no problem to put suitcases etc. there, but in the everyday operation I have only in the My plan is to install an MDF about 13cm above the normal trunk floor and then put the speaker in there and nail the amplifier on it. Now I just remembered that I can screw the amplifier under the MDF, so practically into the “housing” of the subwoofer. Now I have doubts whether the heat is in order, d a the amplifier could pass through up to 720Watt and then the heat has to go somewhere. Well, 60A continuous load is unlikely in normal operation, but what does this look like with lower currents? Do I have to fear that I will run out of the amplifier all the time in the summer?     Hi guys I’m just standing on the hose.. I’m looking for a small FS a 13ner tmt. This should play afterwards in a damped undefined volume.. Subwoofer support will not exist.. a little bit louder the little should then also be able to.. and maybe he shouldn’t run out of breath at the bottom..   • Winter tyres: steel rims vs. 235 LMF

    Hi, I bought a new car, which comes on 235/40 ZR19 summer tyres. Now I wonder how I can get the best of winter tyres. As I see it, I could either buy winter tyres in the same dimensions, which would of course be more expensive, but save the money for the rims. Or narrower, smaller winter tyres (which dimension would make sense?) — for the time being — buy on steel rims. But then at least in the long term the price of LMF added.. Which option would be more economical? Of course, I want to save the least on the tires themselves.

  • System faults Electric drive

    I have been driving a Citroen C5 Aircross Hybrid 225 since May 2024. Recently, about 5-10 minutes after the start of the journey, the error message appears: “System error, let your electric drive be repaired”. If you restart the engine, the error message has disappeared again, but then appears again after 5-10 minutes. However, you can continue normally. Apart from the error message, there are no faults. This afternoon I have a workshop appointment to read out the error memory. I’m curious to see if there will be any new insights.

  • Citroen C5 I high pressure pump successfully repaired

    For the C5 there are almost no HD pumps available ! Only Opel Zafira 2,2 Ltr. – the pumps are almost identical (except for the drive) The drive head can be used without any problems from the Citroen ! Repair: Opel pump (car or “small displays” get – disassembly – control membranes (replace if necessary -repair kit A M a Zon) – remove the steel ball from the filling nozzle ! Cut thread M12 with 3 steps thread drill – remove all metal chips carefully o riginal Citroen Attach drive part – easy to turn – fastening screws tighten – Madenschrauber M12 x(short) get – fill up operating oil (ATF-4) – by constant rotation of the pump drive – turn until all air bubbles have come out (ATF constantly refill until filling nozzle is half full ! Teflon sealing tape 0.075 on the Madenschrauber – turn in magnifying screw to flush ! mount pump – error code – delete – start engine – idle (800 RPM) pump pressure c a. 80 bar – increase some speed (approx. 2000 RPM) – pressure approx. 100 bar . Engine runs smoothly – everything again paletti – good luck – Bernd

    Hello dear community, I hope you can help me with my problems. Had the opportunity today to make a complete error code query based on a Gutmann tester that was provided to me. Query was made because the vehicle currently does not show any real performance. Have photographed the errors and inserted here in the attachment including Fzg-Speech which car it is with data.   • C5 III Tourer, 2013 year, type: 3001 ANZ, time no sound from the speakers

    Hello Citroen-Kundige, driving for 10 years a C5 Tourer type: 3001 ANZ. In the C5 a radio with Navi RT6 is installed. When the ignition key is turned around the level correction starts to run and after reaching the desired altitude the sound playback switches on normally over the speakers. At the switching moment of the sound playback via loudspeaker one hears a relay from the direction of the dashboard to the right clack. But now it often happens that the clapping of the relay remains The navigation system and the radio work, but there is no sound output. Even the distance sensors indicate on the display, but there is no sound from the speakers. For me, it looks like the relay is not controlled. Restart does not help. The next morning it works properly again. This indicates that a capacity has to be discharged so that the device can start. If someone has any idea, Why the relay reacts so? What can I do?
