Good evening, Would like to add new boxes to my Polo 6N, for a little more performance, bass and of course for a better sound experience. Wanted to ask me if JVC are really good boxes, as some say or if there are better ones in the same price ratio. Has someone had positive/negative experiences with JVC, if yes – what does he think of the following boxes: JVC CS-J420

King-Meiler NF3
So, tires are on it, on the Cruze. 205/60R16, such wide rollers wants to see GM on the compact vehicle. Mhhh…. Hinghaus wrote it already with the product description. These tires are rather suboptimal for the flatlandtiroler, because the 10mm high profile blocks are very soft. We want to take a look at the “something” louder roll-off noise, just sounds like a tractor -FORTSCHRITT just- At the autumnal 27°C at present, the tires drive arg diffuse and soft, spongy. I think that But I wanted to. On the other hand, my full-year tyres, Semperit SpeedGrip 2 feel like “Ultra-High-Performance-Tires”.* The car stops for the first time, two-wheeled cars are simply much more practical for everyday life. So let’s say that the tyres could even be mounted, who would have believed it… So now enough for the first time, from the King-Miler NF3 in 205/60R16, where there are so many prices 2. 3., or even 4. brands. you know: quote: I am “a danger to me and others”* Semperit Speedgrip 2. mileage: 40,000 km. 4.0mm and 5.5mm residual profile. So go at least 2, 3 summer season.

Tyre damage/guarantee?
Hello, my question is actually not specific to VW Touran, but I didn’t find any area in the forum where the question really fits. If there is a better area, please move. We have a plate on our touran at the front left. We bought the tyres about three months ago from the VW dealer. I found the hole and can’t really explain how this can come at the place in the tires, why I ask myself whether a material is missing The hole is located on the inside of the tyre, just in the area of the profile, exactly at a point where a small elevation is due to production. I upload a picture from the spot (red marking) on the tyre. Before I contact the dealer tomorrow, I would like to have an opinion about the damage of someone who has more idea than I do. Can someone say something about it? Greetings Ben

Delivery problems Winter tires 2021?
Hello together, I wanted to ask out of curiosity for the round whether in 2021 any (massive) delivery problems with winter tyres / rims are known? I already ordered winter tyres + rims in the summer at the dealer for October and are comforted for about 6 weeks. So slowly a winter break is emerging with us and I feel increasingly uncomfortable, forced to continue driving with summer tyres. Am many drivers on top of that. That the prices have risen, one reads about everywhere (if in doubt I don’t care, I like to pay more, the security is worth it to me), but of such supply shortages especially to 2021 you can actually find nothing on the net. I would therefore be interested if only I could. Greetings to the round!

Motorhome: axle load, air pressure, driving comfort
Question in the round: the mass of the campers is built on vans from Fiat, Citroen, Peugeot and Benz. In our van, the maximum permissible weight of 3500 kg, the manufacturer gives an air pressure of 5 bar around. It is easy to drive, but quite uncomfortable. If you have something to do with the matter, you will find tables by the tyre manufacturer, in which air pressures for different axle loads are specified. In our case the maximum axle load with front 2100 kg and 2400 kg in the rear. I weighed the vehicle fully loaded, total weight 3500 kg, axle front 1660 kg, axle rear 1840 kg. From the table for the Conti GJR mounted with us, this results in an air pressure of 3.1 bar in front and 3.3 bar in the rear. Is it safe to lower the air pressure by 2 bar in order to increase the ride comfort? In percentage terms, this is a powerful deviation from the vehicle manufacturer’s specification, since one comes after all On the other hand, the tyre manufacturer should also know how to operate its tyres.

Wheel width – comfort vs. curve behaviour
Try to be brief and understandable: serial tyres are 185/60 R15, for comfort reasons I want to drive larger tyres (more rubber on the rim), that would be 195/60 R15, goes with ABE and the matching rims. Now I am undecided whether I should take 6 or 6.5″ wide rims, both go with ABE, does not take much price, the tires in both cases I would take the same (Vredestein Quatrac). My concerns are that the larger tire on the wider rim is quasi It will be more comfortable than the standard tyres – would it at least bring a noticeable better curve behaviour? Car is Meriva A, cornering position is felt rather bad, but that’s because of the design, whether there are other tyres at all to remedy it? Are the differences in the end only optical, with what additional consumption would I have to expect at the 6.5″?

Fog light on the highway continues to do so!!!!!
Moin Moin Alle zusammen I have to puke myself out. Now that there is a lot of fog on our roads again many drive again with turned on fog lamp. A Let’s go again for everyone!!!! Fog rear lights can only be turned on at a distance of less than 50 meters and you must not drive more than 50 kmh. Because you are dazzling. Thank you very much.

Can you read out the error code?
So guys, I have a problem and I want to read out the error code on a Ford Escort convertible. Year of manufacture 1994 1.6i 16V Is there any way to read it out about the turn signals, so that you only take a paper clip that is in the control unit and that then spends it on the turn signal. So, like Blinkcodes or something like that. I only know that something like that works with OPEL, but I don’t know about the FORD. Maybe you can help me there. Since I don’t want to go to the Ford workshop first.
